시아누르산과 에피클로로히드린과의 반응에 의해 트리스(3-클로로-2-히드록시프로필)이소시아누레이트를 생성시킨 후 감압하에서 화학양론적 량의 2~20% 과잉한 수산화 알칼리수용액으로 탈염화 수소반응을 행할때에 알칼리 수용액의 첨가량이 화학양론적 량의 70~100% 바람직하기로는 85-95%에 달할때까지 반응 혼합물중의 수분을 1~3중량%의 범위 이내로 유지하고 나머지의 알칼리 수용액의 첨가하는 동안 반응 혼합물 중의 수분을 1중량% 미만으로 저하시키는 것을 특징으로 하는 트리글리시딜 이소시아누레이트의 제법.Tris (3-chloro-2-hydroxypropyl) isocyanurate is produced by reaction of cyanuric acid and epichlorohydrin, and then decomposed with an aqueous solution of alkaline hydroxide in excess of 2 to 20% of stoichiometric amount under reduced pressure. During the hydrogen chloride reaction, the water content of the reaction mixture is kept within the range of 1 to 3% by weight until the amount of the aqueous alkali solution is 70 to 100% of the stoichiometric amount, preferably 85 to 95%.
