제1도는 흡수칼럼(10)의 도식이며, 액체분배기(11), 임의적인 패킹부유기 (12), 팽킹지지체(13) 및 통상적인 기체 분배기와 액체수거(14) (필요한 경우)의 위치를 나타내며, 액체 및 기제 입구 및 출구를 나타낸다.
제2도는 공급홈통(20), 간격요소(21), 및 유동가이드(22)를 갖는 바람직한 액체분배기의 일부분의 파열된 도면이다. 24에서 패킹(도식적으로 나와있음)에 인접한 끝을 적하핑거 또는 막대(23)가 유동가이드(22)에 붙여 있다.
제4도는 제 2 도와 유사하나 요소(21)가 스페이시(25)로 대치되는 파열된 도식적 측면도이다.

Claims (10)

  1. 기체스트림을 충전탑의 하단으로 통과시키고 탑의 상단에 수성 설파이트용액을 0,05-1.0 갈론/분-제곱피트의 속도로 공급하고, 탑의 상단으로부터 SO2가 고갈된 기체를 회수하고 탑의 하단으로부터 바이설파이트용액을 회수하는 것으로 구성되는, 기체스트림으로 부터 SO2를 제거하는 방법.
  2. 제1항에 있어서, 단위시간당 유입기체의 전체 설파이트함량이 단위시간당 유입기체의 이산화황함량과 적어도 같은 방법.
  3. 제1항에 있어서, 수성설파이트가 알칼리설파이트인 방법.
  4. 제1항 내지 제3항중 어느 한 항에 있어서, 수성설파이트용액이 분무형 분배기로 분배되는 방법.
  5. 제1항 내지 제3항중 어느 한 항에 있어서, 설파이트용액이 흠통형 분배기로 분배되는 방법.
  6. 제5항에 있어서, 분배기가 친수성 표면을 갖고 그로부터 액체가 패킹으로 흐르는 방법.
  7. 제6항에 있어서, 액체가 상기 친수성 표면을 갖는 적하핑거로 부터 분배되는 방법.
  8. 제1항 내지 제3항중 어느 한 항에 있어서, 액체 속도가 0.2-0.36 갈론/분/제곱피이트인 방버.
  9. 친수성 표면을 갖는 적하핑거로 부터 수성액체가 분배되어 표면이 전체가 액체로 적셔지는, 충전칼럼의 상단에 수성액체를 분배하는 방법.
  10. 제9항에 있어서, 적당핑거가 그 위에 유기 친수성피복이 된 스테인레스강으로 제조되는 방법.
