Abstract

The clutch control has a microcomputer and a sensor to detect the position of the accelerator pedal. The sensors measure engine speed, detect movement of the clutch and measure vehicle speed. A control device regulates the opening and closing of solenoid valves, gear change and the opening and closing of throttle all based on predetermined stored data and on signals sent from the four sensors. The control device is pref. a micro computer. The signals from the sensors are compared with stored data to calculate clutch moving time and speed for vaious driving conditions. The resulting calculation is sed to actuate counters and flip-flops to perform the required control operations.
