제3도는 영상 독취 데이타로부터 문자열을 절출할 시의 처리 및 신호를 도시하는 개략선도 및 신호파형도.

Claims (6)

  1. 문자열 신호를 한 문자 또는 한 문자의 구성부분에 의접하는 구형 영역으로 절출하여 절출된 문자신호를 송출하는 문자절출부와, 상기 문자 절출부에 있어서의 복수의 절출처리 시스템의 처리결과를 나타내는 절출데이타를 격납하는 절출데이타 메모리를 갖추고, 상기 문자절출부의 후단에 설치된 문자인식 처리부에 있어서, 상기 절출데이타 메모리의 상기 절출데이타를 사용하여, 상기 문자절출부로부터 송출되는 절출 문자신호를, 문자 인식처리하는 것을 특징으로 하는 문자 인식장치.
  2. 상기 문자 인식처리부는 통합수단을 가지고 있고, 상기 통합수단은 상기 절출데이타에 포함되어 있는 절출 이력데이타를 사용하여 상기 절출 문자신호에 혼재하고 있는 일본문자에 대하여서의 문자신호를 통합 처리하도록 하여 이루는 문자 인식장치.
  3. 상기 문자 인식처리부는 식별수단을 가지고 있고, 상기 식별수단은 상기 절출 데이타를 사용하여 상기 절출 문자신호가 나타내는 문자가 속하는 문자군을 분류하고, 당해 분류 후의 문자신호를 적용의 인식알고리즘을 사용하여 인식 처리하도록 하여 이루는 문자 인식장치.
  4. 문자열 신호를 복수의 절출 처리스텝에 의하여, 한 문자 또는 한 문자의 구성부분에 외접하는 구형영역에서 절출하여 절출된 문자신호를 송출하는 문자절출부와, 상기복수의 절출 처리스텝에 있어서 각각의 절출구형 영역열에 대하여 순차적으로 교번되어 논리레벨 「0」및 「1」를 할당함으로서 각 구형영역에 대하여 상기 복수의 절출 처리스텝에 있어서의 절출이력을 나타내는 복수비트의 절출 이력데이타를 형성하는 이력부호와 수단을 갖추고, 상기 절출 이력데이타의 각 비트의 논리레벨을,상기 구형 영역열의 인접하는 2개의 구형영역에 대하여 비교하고, 논리레벨이 서로 일치한 비트가 있었을 때, 당해 일치한 비트에 대응하는 절출 처리스텝에 있어서의 당해 2개의 구형영역이 같은 구형영역에서 절출되었다고 판단할 수 있도록 한 것을 특징으로 하는 문자 인식장치.
  5. 문자열 신호의 신호레벨을, 순차신호 레벨이 달리한 복수의 임계레벨과 각각 비교함으로서, 절출 거칠임이 달리한 구형영역을 절출하는 문자절출부와, 상기 복수의 임계레벨에 의하여 절출된 구형영역에 대하여 절출이력을 나타내는 절출 이력데이타를 형성하는 수단을 갖추고, 상기 절출 이력데이타를 사용하여 문자인식을 하는 것을 특징으로 하는 문자 인식장치.
  6. 문자열신호의 신호레벨을 한 문자 또는 한 문자의 구성부분에 외접하는 폭 및 높이로 표시하는 제1의 구형영역에서 절출하고, 상기 제1의 구형영역에 의하여 절출된 문자신호의 신호 레벨이 소정의 기준레벨 이하로 된 폭방향의 도트위치에 대하여 높이 방향으로 연속하는가 아닌가를 판정하고, 불연속임이 판정된 폭방향의 도트위치에 있어서 상기 제1의 구형영역을 2개의 제2의 구형영역으로 분리하여 절출된 문자신호를 송출하는 문자 절출부를 갖추는 것을 특징으로 하는 문자 인식장치.
