Claims (15)
- (1) 주요부분의 공급공기를 35 내지 145psia사이의 압력에서 조작되는 주 정류 컬럼 내로 도입하여 질소가 풍부한 증기와 산소가 짙은 액체로 공급공기를 분리하며; (2) 보조부분의 공급공기를 주 컬럼에서 조작되는 압력보다 큰 압력으로 조작되는 예비분류 영역내로 도입하여 질소가 짙은 증기분류와 산소가 짙은 액체분류로 분리하며; (3) 적어도 소량의 질소가 풍부한 증기분류를 주 컬럼에서 생산된 산소가 짙은 액체와의 간접 열교환에 의해 응축시키며; (4) 환류액체 및 부가적인 공급으로, 적어도 소량의 얻어지는 응축된 질소가 풍부한 분류를 주된 부분의 공급공기가 주 컬럼내로 도입되는 지정의 상부에 있는 적어도 하나의 트레이를 향해 주 컬럼 내로 도입하며; (5) 기화하는 산소가 짙은 액체와의 간접 열교환에 의해 제1부분의 질소가 풍부한 증기를 응축하며; (6) 적어도 소량의 얻어지는 응축된 질소가 풍부한 제1부분을 응축된 질소가 풍부한 분류가 주 컬럼내로 도입되는 지정의 상부에 있는 적어도 하나의 트레이를 향해 주 컬럼에 통과시키며; (7) 생산물 질소로 제2부분의 질소가 풍부한 증기를 회수하는 단계를 포함하는 것을 특징으로 하는 공급공기의 저온 정류에 의한 비교적 고순도와 높은 수율에서 질소의 생산 공정.
- 제1항에 있어서, 주요부분은 공급공기의 약 60 내지 95%를 포함하고 보조부분은 공급공기의 약 5내지 40%를 포함하는 것을 특징으로 하는 공정.
- 제1항에 있어서, 주요부분은 공급공기의 약 70 내지 90%를 포함하고 보조부분은 공급공기의 약 10내지 30%를 포함하는 것을 특징으로 하는 공정.
- 제1항에 있어서, 예비분류 영역은 주 정류 컬럼이 조작되는 압력 이상으로 10 내지 90psi사이의 압력에서 조작되는 것을 특징으로 하는 공정.
- 제1항에 있어서, 모든 응축된 질소가 풍부한 제1부분이 주 컬럼을 지나는 것을 특징으로 하는 공정.
- 제1항에 있어서, 소량의 응축된 질소가 풍부한 제1부분을 생산물 액체 질소로 회수되는 것을 특징으로 하는 공정.
- 제1항에 있어서, 전체의 공급공기는 주 컬럼의 조작 압력보다 큰 압력까지 압축하고 주요부분의 공급공기는 주 컬럼내로 도입되기 이전에 주 컬럼의 조작 압력까지 팽창하는 것을 특징으로 하는 공정.
- 제7항에 있어서, 주요부분 공급공기의 팽창에 의해 공정을 위한 냉동이 발생하는 것을 특징으로 하는 공정.
- 제1항에 있어서, 단지 보조부분의 공급공기가 주 컬럼의 조작 압력보다 큰 압력까지 압축되는 것을 특징으로 하는 공정.
- 제1항에 있어서, 제3부분의 공급공기는 적어도 하나의 귀환 흐름과의 간접 열교환에 의해 응축되고 얻어지는 제3부분은 주요부분의 공급공기와 응축된 질소가 풍부한 분류가 주 컬럼 내로 도입되는 지점의 사이를 향해 컬럼내로 도입되는 것을 특징으로 하는 공정.
- 제1항에 있어서, 생산물 질소가 적어도 98몰 %의 순도를 가지는 것을 특징으로 하는 공정.
- 제1항에 있어서, 생산물 질소는 공정에 도입된 질소의 적어도 50%인 것을 특징으로 하는 공정.
- 제1항에 있어서, 적어도 소량의 산소가 짙은 액체분류를 응축된 질소가 풍부한 분류가 도입되는 지점의 아래에 있는 적어도 하나의 트레이를 향해, 주 정류 컬럼 내로 도입하는 것을 특징으로 하는 공정.
- 제1항에 있어서, 예비분류 영역은 주 컬럼이 가지고 있는 평형단 수의 이하를 가지는 소형 컬럼을 포함하는 것을 특징으로 하는 공정.
