제1도, 제2도 및 제3도는 각각 상이한 흡착제를 사용하여 니트로톨루엔 이성체를 분리할때 그 용출 결과를 크로마토그래프로 도시한 것이다.

Claims (5)

  1. 오르토-니트로톨루엔 및 적어도 하나의 기타 니트로톨루엔 이성체로 구성된 원료 혼합물을 흡착 조건하에서 교환 가능한 양이온 자리에 원소 주기율표 제(IA)조 또는 (IIA)족의 금속 양이온을 지닌 X형 제올라이트로 구성된 흡착제와 접촉시키고, 오르토-니트로톨루엔 이외의 나머지 이성체를 거의 제외시켜 오르토-니트로톨루엔을 선택적으로 흡착시키고, 원료 혼합물의 비흡착 부분을 흡착제로 부터 제거시키고, 탈착 조건하에서 니트로벤젠을 함유한 탈착제 물질로 탈착 시키는 단계로 구성되는 것을 특징으로 하는, 오르토-니트로톨루엔 및 적어도 하나의 기타 니트로톨루엔 이성체로 구성된 원료 혼합물로 부터 오르토-니트로톨루엔을 분리하는 방법.
  2. 제1항에 있어서, 상기 원료 혼합물은 파라-니트로톨루엔, 메타-니트로톨루엔 및 오르토-니트로톨루엔을 함유하는 것을 특징으로 하는 방법.
  3. 제1항에 있어서, 상기 양이온은 바륨 또는 칼륨의 양이온으로 구성되는 것을 특징으로 하는 방법.
  4. 제1항에 있어서, 상기 흡착 및 탈착조건은 70℉-450℉(21.1℃-232℃)온도 및 액체상을 유지할 수 있는 충분한 정도의 압력인 것을 특징으로 하는 방법.
  5. 제1항에 있어서, 이동성 베드 유동 시스템에 의해 상기 분리가 이루어지는 것을 특징으로 하는 방법.
