본 고안은 캡체와 패킹이 연결관의 상단 외주연부에 설한 괘지홈에 계합 나착되게 구성된 파이프 연결장치에 관한 것이다.The present invention relates to a pipe connecting device configured to be engaged with the cap body and the packing in the hanging groove provided in the upper outer periphery of the connecting pipe.
종래에도 파이프를 연결하기 위해 제안된 연결장치가 공고 제79-957호에서와 같이 캡체의 내주면에 설한 나사부가 연결관의 상단외주면에 설한 나사부에 나착토록 구성된 것과 공고 제 80-1879호 에서와 같이 캡체의 내주면에 설한 괘지턱이 연결관의 상단외주면에 설한 단턱에 괘착 고정케된 것이 있었으나 이와같은 경우 전자의 경우에 나사부가 취급 도중이나 사용도중 마노되기가 쉬워 그 나합조립이 불가능하게 되는 경우가 발생되었으며 과하게 나합시키게 되면 그 나사부가 마모되거나 패킹에 손상을 가져오는 경우도 허다했고 패킹의 압착력이 저하되어 밀폐효과가 저하되는등의 문제점이 야기되었던 것이다. 또한 후자의 경우에는 일단 캡체의 내주면에 설한 괘지턱이 연결관의 외주면에 설한 단턱에 괘착 고정되면 해체가 불가능하여 패킹의 마모로 교체를 필요로 할때에도 손쉽게 교체할 수 없어 비경제적이었던 것이다.Conventionally, the connecting device proposed for connecting pipes is configured such that the threaded portion installed on the inner circumferential surface of the cap body is attached to the threaded portion provided on the upper outer circumferential surface of the connecting pipe as in Publication No. 79-957.
