Description
The present invention relates to a permeable sidewalk block case, and more specifically, to a permeable sidewalk block case that can be assembled in various sizes and can smoothly drain rainwater to the ground surface during rainy weather.
In general, multiple sidewalk blocks of the same shape are installed in succession on the sidewalks of roads where people frequently pass, or on the road surfaces in large squares and parks, to allow pedestrians to pass comfortably, and to protect against snow and rainwater. This prevents road surface loss and provides a comfortable walking environment.
Most of these sidewalk blocks are made of concrete structures with a certain thickness and size and are assembled and constructed in a continuous form on the road surface where leveling work has been completed.
After construction is completed, gaps will appear between the sidewalk blocks. During rainy weather, only a very small amount of rainwater will seep into the underlying ground soil through the gaps in the blocks, and most of the rainwater will not be inundated but will instead pass over the surface of the sidewalk blocks. Therefore, it flows down and is drained through sewer pipes.
In this way, the rainwater that accumulates on the upper part of the sidewalk block hardly permeates to the ground surface, so the interior of the ground surface where the sidewalk block is constructed not only changes into an environment that inhibits the growth of microorganisms, but also reduces the drainage capacity of sewer pipes in areas with weak drainage facilities. There was a problem with the load.
Republic of Korea Patent Publication No. 10-2012-0047886 discloses a sidewalk block case with bottom projections.
The sidewalk block case has vertical grooves formed on the sides to encourage rainwater to move to the ground surface along the vertical grooves during rainy weather, but the size of the vertical grooves is very small and there is a problem in that they are easily filled with soil or sand. In addition, when rainwater flows into the vertical grooves, there is a problem that it is difficult for the rainwater to flow in because the space of the vertical grooves is filled with air.
In addition, since many sidewalk block cases are constructed with a large number of sidewalk block cases placed on the ground, there is a problem in that the bonding force between sidewalk block cases is weak and it takes a long time to align them in a straight line.
An assembly bracket having an insertion hole is provided on one side of the main body, and an insert portion that is inserted into the insertion hole and coupled to the assembly bracket is provided on the other side of the main body.
The sidewalk block case contains phosphorescent material to enable light emission at night.
As described above, the present invention has a modular structure so that multiple sidewalk blocks can be accommodated. These sidewalk block cases are configured so that two or more can be assembled by connecting them in all directions.

Meanwhile, the sidewalk block case of the present invention can be manufactured by injection molding with synthetic resin. In this case, it is desirable for the sidewalk block case to contain luminous material so that it can emit light at night.
A phosphorescent material is a material that absorbs and accumulates light energy from sunlight or an electrical light source and then emits the accumulated light at night or when the light is blocked. In the present invention, the afterglow luminance of the phosphorescent material is used to make the sidewalk block case emit light.
Phosphorescent materials can repeat the absorption-accumulation-emission process semi-permanently. Commercially available granular or powdery products can be used as photoluminescent materials. For example, strontium aluminate-based materials or zinc sulfide-based materials that are chemically and optically excellent can be used as phosphorescent materials. The stronger the phosphorescent material absorbs light energy and the greater the amount of phosphorescent material, the stronger the luminance.
During injection molding, if a certain amount of photoluminescent material is mixed with a synthetic resin material and melted to form a sidewalk block case, the molded sidewalk block case can emit luminous light. Accordingly, it is possible to create a beautiful scenery while giving the sidewalk visibility at night.
