Description

차량의 하이브리드 파워트레인{POWERTRAIN FOR HYBRID VEHICLE}
본 발명은 차량의 하이브리드 파워트레인 구조에 관한 기술이다.
차량의 하이브리드 파워트레인은 엔진과 모터의 동력을 적절히 조합하여 구동륜으로 제공하도록 구성됨으로써, 차량의 연비를 향상시킬 수 있다.
상기와 같은 하이브리드 파워트레인은 가급적 적은 구성요소를 가지면서도, 차량의 주행 상황에 적합한 보다 다양한 주행모드를 구현할 수 있는 것이 바람직하다.
상기 발명의 배경이 되는 기술로서 설명된 사항들은 본 발명의 배경에 대한 이해 증진을 위한 것일 뿐, 이 기술분야에서 통상의 지식을 가진 자에게 이미 알려진 종래기술에 해당함을 인정하는 것으로 받아들여져서는 안 될 것이다.

본 발명은 비교적 간단한 구성으로 다양한 주행모드를 구현할 수 있어서 차량의 동력성능 및 연비성능을 향상시킬 수 있고, 각 주행모드 전환 시 동력 단절이 발생하지 않아 우수한 변속감을 확보할 수 있도록 한 차량의 하이브리드 파워트레인을 제공함에 그 목적이 있다.
상기한 바와 같은 목적을 달성하기 위한 본 발명 차량의 하이브리드 파워트레인은,
엔진과 연동되도록 설치된 제1입력축;
제1모터와 연동되며, 상기 제1입력축에 평행하게 설치된 제2입력축;
제2모터와 연동되며, 상기 제2입력축에 평행하게 설치된 제3입력축;
상기 제3입력축에 평행하게 설치된 출력축;
상기 제2입력축의 동력을 상기 출력축으로 서로 다른 기어비로 전달할 수 있도록 설치된 제1선택치합장치;
상기 제3입력축의 동력을 상기 출력축으로 서로 다른 기어비로 전달할 수 있도록 설치된 제2선택치합장치;
상기 제1입력축의 동력을 상기 제2입력축 또는 상기 제3입력축으로 전달할 수 있도록 설치된 제3선택치합장치;
를 포함하여 구성된 것을 특징으로 한다.
상기 제1선택치합장치는, 상기 제2입력축에 회전이 구속된 제1기어 및 제2기어에 각각 치합되도록, 상기 출력축에 회전 가능하게 설치된 제3기어 및 제4기어 중, 어느 하나를 상기 출력축에 연결시킬 수 있도록 설치될 수 있다.
상기 제2선택치합장치는, 상기 출력축에 회전이 구속된 제5기어 및 제6기어에 각각 치합되도록, 상기 제3입력축에 회전 가능하게 설치된 제7기어 및 제8기어 중, 어느 하나를 상기 제3입력축에 연결시킬 수 있도록 설치될 수 있다.
상기 제3선택치합장치는, 상기 제2입력축에 회전이 구속된 상기 제2기어와 상기 제3입력축에 회전이 구속된 제9기어에 각각 치합되도록, 상기 제1입력축에 회전 가능하게 설치된 제10기어 및 제11기어 중, 어느 하나를 상기 제1입력축에 연결시킬 수 있도록 설치될 수 있다.
상기 제3입력축은 상기 제9기어와 제11기어를 차례로 통하여 상기 제2모터에 연동되도록 설치될 수 있다.
상기 제2모터는 상기 제11기어에 치합된 아이들러기어를 통하여 동력을 상기 제3입력축으로 전달하도록 설치될 수 있다.
상기 출력축에는 디퍼렌셜로 동력을 인출하는 출력기어가 회전이 구속되도록 설치될 수 있다.
상기 제1선택치합장치, 제2선택치합장치, 및 제3선택치합장치 중 적어도 하나 이상은 도그클러치로 구성될 수 있다.
상기 제1선택치합장치, 제2선택치합장치, 및 제3선택치합장치 중 적어도 하나 이상은 동기치합장치로 구성될 수 있다.

도 1을 참조하면, 본 발명 차량의 하이브리드 파워트레인의 실시예는, 엔진(ENG)과 연동되도록 설치된 제1입력축(IN1); 제1모터(MG1)와 연동되며, 상기 제1입력축(IN1)에 평행하게 설치된 제2입력축(IN2); 제2모터(MG2)와 연동되며, 상기 제2입력축(IN2)에 평행하게 설치된 제3입력축(IN3); 상기 제3입력축(IN3)에 평행하게 설치된 출력축(OUT); 상기 제2입력축(IN2)의 동력을 상기 출력축(OUT)으로 서로 다른 기어비로 전달할 수 있도록 설치된 제1선택치합장치(SC1); 상기 제3입력축(IN3)의 동력을 상기 출력축(OUT)으로 서로 다른 기어비로 전달할 수 있도록 설치된 제2선택치합장치(SC2); 상기 제1입력축(IN1)의 동력을 상기 제2입력축(IN2) 또는 상기 제3입력축(IN3)으로 전달할 수 있도록 설치된 제3선택치합장치(SC3)를 포함하여 구성된다.
즉, 본 발명 차량의 하이브리드 파워트레인은 엔진(ENG)의 동력을 상기 제1입력축(IN1)으로 전달받고, 제1모터(MG1)의 동력을 상기 제2입력축(IN2)으로 전달받으며, 제2모터(MG2)의 동력을 상기 제3입력축(IN3)으로 전달받아서, 상기 제1선택치합장치(SC1), 제2선택치합장치(SC2), 및 제3선택치합장치(SC3)들이 형성하는 도 2와 같은 다양한 치합상태 조합에 의해, 상기 출력축(OUT)으로 총 24가지의 주행모드에 따른 출력을 인출할 수 있도록 구성된 것이다.
참고로, 도 2에서 상기 선택치합장치들의 슬리브가 도 1을 기준으로 좌측기어에 치합된 상태를 L, 우측기어에 치합된 상태를 R로 표시하고 있다.
상기 제1선택치합장치(SC1)는, 상기 제2입력축(IN2)에 회전이 구속된 제1기어(G1) 및 제2기어(G2)에 각각 치합되도록, 상기 출력축(OUT)에 회전 가능하게 설치된 제3기어(G3) 및 제4기어(G4) 중, 어느 하나를 상기 출력축(OUT)에 연결시킬 수 있도록 설치된다.
즉, 상기 제2입력축(IN2)에는 도시된 바와 같이 제2모터(MG2)가 직결되어 있고, 제1기어(G1) 및 제2기어(G2)가 함께 회전하도록 설치되어 있으며, 상기 제1기어(G1)에는 제3기어(G3)가 치합되고, 상기 제2기어(G2)에는 제4기어(G4)가 치합되어 있어서, 상기 제1선택치합장치(SC1)가 상기 제3기어(G3)를 상기 출력축(OUT)에 연결시키면, 상기 제2입력축(IN2)으로 공급된 제1모터(MG1)의 동력이 상기 제1기어(G1)와 제3기어(G3)를 통해 상기 출력축(OUT)으로 전달되는 상태가 되고, 상기 제1선택치합장치(SC1)가 상기 제4기어(G4)를 상기 출력축(OUT)에 연결시키면, 상기 제2입력축(IN2)의 동력은 상기 제2기어(G2)와 제4기어(G4)를 통해 상기 출력축(OUT)으로 전달되는 상태가 되는 것이다.
상기 제2선택치합장치(SC2)는, 상기 출력축(OUT)에 회전이 구속된 제5기어(G5) 및 제6기어(G6)에 각각 치합되도록, 상기 제3입력축(IN3)에 회전 가능하게 설치된 제7기어(G7) 및 제8기어(G8) 중, 어느 하나를 상기 제3입력축(IN3)에 연결시킬 수 있도록 설치된다.
즉, 상기 제7기어(G7)는 상기 제5기어(G5)에 치합되고, 상기 제8기어(G8)는 상기 제6기어(G6)에 치합된 상태이므로, 상기 제2선택치합장치(SC2)가 상기 제7기어(G7)를 상기 제3입력축(IN3)에 연결시키면, 상기 제3입력축(IN3)의 동력은 상기 제7기어(G7)와 제5기어(G5)를 통해 상기 출력축(OUT)으로 전달되는 상태가 되고, 상기 제8기어(G8)를 상기 제3입력축(IN3)에 연결시키면, 상기 제3입력축(IN3)의 동력은 상기 제8기어(G8)와 제6기어(G6)를 통해 상기 출력축(OUT)으로 전달되는 상태가 되는 것이다.
상기 제3선택치합장치(SC3)는, 상기 제2입력축(IN2)에 회전이 구속된 상기 제2기어(G2)와 상기 제3입력축(IN3)에 회전이 구속된 제9기어(G9)에 각각 치합되도록, 상기 제1입력축(IN1)에 회전 가능하게 설치된 제10기어(G10) 및 제11기어(G11) 중, 어느 하나를 상기 제1입력축(IN1)에 연결시킬 수 있도록 설치된다.
즉, 상기 제10기어(G10)는 상기 제2기어(G2)에 치합된 상태로 상기 제1입력축(IN1)에 회전 가능한 상태로 설치되고, 상기 제11기어(G11)는 상기 제9기어(G9)에 치합된 상태로 상기 제1입력축(IN1)에 회전 가능한 상태로 설치되어 있으므로, 상기 제3선택치합장치(SC3)가 상기 제10기어(G10)를 상기 제1입력축(IN1)에 연결시키면, 상기 제1입력축(IN1)의 동력이 상기 제10기어(G10)와 제2기어(G2)를 통해 상기 제2입력축(IN2)으로 전달되는 상태가 되고, 상기 제3선택치합장치(SC3)가 상기 제11기어(G11)를 상기 제1입력축(IN1)에 연결시키면, 상기 제1입력축(IN1)의 동력은 상기 제11기어(G11)와 제9기어(G9)를 통해 상기 제3입력축(IN3)으로 전달되는 상태가 되는 것이다.
본 실시예에서, 상기 제3입력축(IN3)은 상기 제9기어(G9)와 제11기어(G11)를 차례로 통하여 상기 제2모터(MG2)에 연동되도록 설치된다.
즉, 본 실시예에서, 상기 제2모터(MG2)가 상기 제11기어(G11)에 치합된 아이들러기어(IG)를 구동하면, 그 동력은 상기 제11기어(G11)와 제9기어(G9)를 차례로 통하여 상기 제3입력축(IN3)으로 전달되도록 구성된 것이다.
상기 아이들러기어(IG)는 생략될 수도 있지만, 상기 제2모터(MG2)와 상기 제3선택치합장치(SC3) 사이의 공간 확보가 필요한 경우나, 기어비 증가 등을 위해, 도시된 바와 같이 구비될 수 있을 것이다.
한편, 상기 출력축(OUT)에는 디퍼렌셜(DF)로 동력을 인출하는 출력기어(OG)가 회전이 구속되도록 설치되어, 상기 출력축(OUT)의 동력을 상기 디퍼렌셜(DF)을 통해 좌우의 구동륜으로 전달하도록 할 수 있다.
상기 제1선택치합장치(SC1), 제2선택치합장치(SC2), 및 제3선택치합장치(SC3) 중 적어도 하나 이상은 도그클러치로 구성될 수 있다.
또한, 상기 제1선택치합장치(SC1), 제2선택치합장치(SC2), 및 제3선택치합장치(SC3) 중 적어도 하나 이상은 동기치합장치로 구성될 수도 있을 것이다.
즉, 여기서, 상기 선택치합장치는 상기 도그클러치와 동기치합장치를 포괄하는 의미로 사용되고 있으며, 상기 동기치합장치는 도그클러치와 달리 싱크로나이저링을 구비하여 마찰력에 의한 동기작용이 수반되면서 슬리브와 클러치기어의 치합이 이루어지는 싱크로메시(synchromesh) 방식의 메커니즘으로 이루어진 장치를 의미할 수 있다.
비용과 중량 등의 측면에서는 상기 도그클러치로 선택치합장치를 구성하는 것이 바람직하며, 도그클러치의 체결에 필요한 동기작용은 상기 제1모터(MG1) 또는 제2모터(MG2)의 제어에 의해 이루어지도록 할 수 있을 것이다.
상기한 바와 같이 구성된 본 발명 차량의 하이브리드 파워트레인은 상술한 바와 같이 도 2에 표시된 24가지의 주행모드를 구현할 수 있다.
도 2에서 EV는 상기 제1모터(MG1) 또는 제2모터(MG2)로만 차량을 구동하는 전기차모드를 의미하고, Two-EV는 상기 제1모터(MG1)와 제2모터(MG2)를 모두 이용하여 차량을 구동하는 전기차모드를 의미하며, Series는 상기 엔진(ENG)의 동력으로 제1모터(MG1) 또는 제2모터(MG2)를 구동하여 생산된 전력으로 다른 한 모터를 구동하여 차량을 구동시키는 시리즈모드를 의미하며, HEV는 엔진(ENG)과 제1모터(MG1) 또는 제2모터(MG2)를 함께 사용하여 차량을 구동시키는 하이브리드모드를 의미한다.
참고로, 도 2의 HEV모드에 대하여 표시된 UD(Under Drive)는 파워트레인이 감속비를 구현하는 상태를 의미하고, OD(Over Drive)는 파워트레인이 증속비를 구현하는 상태를 의미하는 것이다.
도 3 내지 도 10은 도 2의 24가지의 주행모드들 중 대표적인 몇 가지의 주행모드를 구현하는 상태를 설명한 것으로서, 화살표는 동력의 흐름은 나타내는 것이고, 각 선택치합장치들은 슬리브가 중앙의 중립상태에 있는 것과 좌측 또는 우측으로 이동되어 해당 기어와 치합된 상태를 표시하고 있다.
본 발명은 특정한 실시예에 관련하여 도시하고 설명하였지만, 이하의 특허청구범위에 의해 제공되는 본 발명의 기술적 사상을 벗어나지 않는 한도 내에서, 본 발명이 다양하게 개량 및 변화될 수 있다는 것은 당업계에서 통상의 지식을 가진 자에게 있어서 자명할 것이다.

    제1모터와 연동되며, 상기 제1입력축에 평행하게 설치된 제2입력축;
    제2모터와 연동되며, 상기 제2입력축에 평행하게 설치된 제3입력축;
    상기 제3입력축에 평행하게 설치된 출력축;
    상기 제2입력축의 동력을 상기 출력축으로 서로 다른 기어비로 전달할 수 있도록 설치된 제1선택치합장치;
    상기 제3입력축의 동력을 상기 출력축으로 서로 다른 기어비로 전달할 수 있도록 설치된 제2선택치합장치;
    상기 제1입력축의 동력을 상기 제2입력축 또는 상기 제3입력축으로 전달할 수 있도록 설치된 제3선택치합장치;
    를 포함하여 구성된 것을 특징으로 하는 차량의 하이브리드 파워트레인.
  2. 청구항 1에 있어서,
    상기 제1선택치합장치는, 상기 제2입력축에 회전이 구속된 제1기어 및 제2기어에 각각 치합되도록, 상기 출력축에 회전 가능하게 설치된 제3기어 및 제4기어 중, 어느 하나를 상기 출력축에 연결시킬 수 있도록 설치된 것
    을 특징으로 하는 차량의 하이브리드 파워트레인.
  3. 청구항 2에 있어서,
    상기 제2선택치합장치는, 상기 출력축에 회전이 구속된 제5기어 및 제6기어에 각각 치합되도록, 상기 제3입력축에 회전 가능하게 설치된 제7기어 및 제8기어 중, 어느 하나를 상기 제3입력축에 연결시킬 수 있도록 설치된 것

    상기 제3선택치합장치는, 상기 제2입력축에 회전이 구속된 상기 제2기어와 상기 제3입력축에 회전이 구속된 제9기어에 각각 치합되도록, 상기 제1입력축에 회전 가능하게 설치된 제10기어 및 제11기어 중, 어느 하나를 상기 제1입력축에 연결시킬 수 있도록 설치된 것
