Description
Manufacturing technology field of flooring boards made from recycled plastic boards processed from waste plastics as the main raw material
..
Conventional floorboards are manufactured in various types, such as butt joints, double-end nailed joints, comb joints, half-mounted joints, gap joints, sludge joints, tongue joints, and double-tongue joints, depending on the type of joint that connects the floorboards. , the most common among them is the tongue-and-groove type, which forms a protruding tongue in the middle of one transverse side of the plate and an insertion groove into which the tongue can be inserted in the middle of the other side.
The present invention relates to the manufacturing method, structure, and operational effects of tongue-and-groove flooring among floorboards. Conventionally, floorboards with a tongue-and-groove design include a wooden floorboard manufactured in a form with a tongue-and-groove design by forming a protrusion in the middle of one transverse side of the wood board and a concave inlet in the middle of the opposite side, as well as plywood floorboards with a tongue-and-groove pattern formed on a plywood board. It is also manufactured.
In addition, reinforced floorboards were produced by adhering natural wood, reinforced wood, veneer veneer, or printed wood veneer transfer paper to a board made of a substrate (inner core material) such as medium-density fiberboard (MDF) or particle board.
The floorboards manufactured in this way are made by processing expensive raw wood boards, plywood, MDF, or particle board, so the material costs are high, and to create a tongue-and-groove, a protrusion must be cut on one side and a recess must be cut on the other side. There was the inconvenience of having to process each sheet using a tongue-and-groove processing machine.
The present invention solves the inconvenience of cutting out protrusions and recesses using a tongue-and-groove processing machine each time each floorboard is manufactured in the conventional floorboard manufacturing, provides a floorboard that is easy to process, and eliminates the need for expensive raw wood used as a material for floorboards. The aim is to create floorboards made of recycled plastic using discarded plastic so that they can be manufactured at a low price instead of boards, plywood, MDF or particleboard, and to provide floorboards made of this as the main material, thereby providing economical floorboards.
In addition, this design was developed to reduce the amount of plastic waste and environmental pollution caused by waste plastic by recycling waste plastic, which is currently being poured out in huge quantities every year around the world, and using it as a raw material for floorboards.
The floorboard of this invention selects hard plastics such as PET, PP, and HDPE from discarded plastics, crushes them into fine chips of about 1 to 5 mm, puts them in a mold, and melts them at a temperature close to 230°C, which is the crystal melting temperature of PET. When PET does not melt at the temperature and plasticity is at its highest, pressurize it to manufacture the bottom plate (1), or mix the shredded chips with an appropriate amount of urea resin and place them in a mold and heat-press at 120-150℃. The bottom plate (1) can be manufactured by curing the added resin and recycled plastic chips by moving upward or mixing an appropriate amount of phenolic resin and then heat-pressing and molding at 150-170°C.
Among the floorboards of the present invention, which are made by recycling waste plastic, the bottom plate (1) forms an upper protrusion (4) and an “ㄱ”-shaped lower step (7) on one side of the transverse edge, and a lower protrusion on the other edge. (5) and the "ㄴ" shaped upper step portion (8) are formed to form an integrated bottom plate (1), and on the upper surface of this bottom plate (1), one edge has the "ㄱ" shaped lower step portion (7). ), and the other edge is made by gluing the surface decoration plate (2) that matches the end of the lower protrusion (5), and the upper protrusion (4) on one side of the bottom plate (1) has a tongue-shaped protrusion. In addition, a floorboard is provided in which a tongue insertion groove (6) is formed between the lower protrusion (5) on the other side and the other edge of the surface decoration plate (2). In the floorboard of the present invention, the upper protrusion on one side of the floorboard forms a tongue-shaped protrusion, so the tongue insertion groove (6) is formed between the lower protrusion (5) on the other side of the floorboard and the edge of the surface decoration plate (2). The floorboard is installed by inserting the upper protrusion (4).
In the production of the floorboard of the present invention constructed as above, the conventional tongue-and-groove floorboard had the inconvenience of having to cut a protrusion on one side of the transverse direction and a concave part on the other side when manufacturing each floorboard, but the present invention uses waste plastic. The bottom plate (1) is manufactured by pressure molding, and an upper protrusion (4) and an "ㄱ"-shaped lower step portion (7) are formed on one transverse edge of the bottom plate, and a lower protrusion (5) and "" are formed on the other edge. By forming the "ㄴ" shaped upper step portion 8, the integrated floor plate 1 can be molded.
Meanwhile, the floorboard is manufactured by adhering the surface decoration plate (2) so that it is aligned with the inner end of the "L"-shaped lower step (7) of the upper protrusion (4), and the other edge is aligned with the end of the lower protrusion (5). In addition, the upper protrusion (4) on one side forms a tongue, and between the lower protrusion (5) on the other side and the other edge of the surface decoration plate (2), the tongue insertion groove (tongue) into which the tongue of the upper protrusion (4) is inserted 6) is formed, so there is no need to separately remove the tongue or remove the tongue insertion groove.
Therefore, unlike the conventional method of manufacturing a tongue-and-groove floorboard by cutting a tongue on one side of the board in the transverse direction and cutting an insertion groove on the other side to align the tongue protrusion, the present design does not require a device for cutting the tongue protrusion, and the cutting process is simple. Since it is not necessary, manufacturing time can be shortened and costs for cutting are reduced.
The bottom plate of this design is made by cutting the "ㄱ"-shaped lower step or the "ㄴ"-shaped upper step from the louvre board of the Korean Utility Model Publication No. 20-1994-0000063, which was previously designed by the author, to create the main body plate ( Unlike forming a bottom plate, it can be manufactured by putting recycled plastic chips in a mold and pressurizing them at high temperature and pressure, or by mixing an appropriate amount of urea resin or phenolic resin into recycled plastic chips and pressing and molding them at an appropriate temperature. There is no need for a device for cutting the floor plate, and since there is no need for a cutting process, manufacturing time can be shortened and costs for cutting can be reduced. In addition, since the floorboards are made of recycled plastic by pressurizing and molding waste plastic, floorboards can be manufactured inexpensively using cheap waste plastic instead of expensive raw wood.
The bottom plate of the present invention selects PET, PP, and HDPE among discarded plastics, crushes them into fine pieces of about 1 to 5 mm, makes chips, puts them in a mold, and melts them at 230°C, which is close to the crystal melting temperature of PET. Bottom plates can be manufactured by pressing PET at a temperature where it does not melt and has the highest plasticity.
In addition, the bottom plate of the present invention is made by selecting PET, PP or HDPE, crushing it to a fine size of about 1 to 5 mm, mixing an appropriate amount of urea resin, placing it in a mold, and heat-pressing at 120 to 150 ° C. The bottom plate (1) can be manufactured by mixing phenolic resin and then curing the added resin and recycled plastic chips by heat-pressing at 150-170°C.
As described above, waste plastic can be recycled to make floorboards, so this design can recycle discarded plastic, rather than fresh plastic, as the main raw material for floorboards, so it can be manufactured inexpensively and can reduce environmental pollution caused by waste plastic. It works.

A floorboard made of a recycled plastic plate according to the present invention will be described in detail according to the embodiments shown in the attached drawings.
Figure 1 is a perspective view of a floor board made of recycled plastic plates according to the present invention, and Figure 2 is a cross-sectional view along the line A-A of Figure 1 showing the structure of the present invention, as shown in the transverse direction of the floor plate (1). An upper protrusion (4) and an “ㄱ”-shaped lower step (7) are formed on one edge, and a lower protrusion (5) and an “ㄴ”-shaped upper step (8) are formed on the other edge, and this bottom plate ( On the upper surface of 1), one side of the surface decoration plate (2) is glued in line with the inner end of the "ㄱ"-shaped lower step, and the other end of the surface decoration plate (2) is glued in line with the end of the lower protrusion (5), and one side The upper protrusion 4 forms a tongue, and a tongue insertion groove 6 into which the tongue is inserted is formed between the lower protrusion 5 on the other side and the other edge of the surface decoration plate 2.
In bonding the base plate (1) and the surface decoration plate (2), an adhesive layer (3) is applied to the upper surface of the base plate (1), the surface decoration plate (2) is placed on it, and then the surface decoration plate (2) is pressed and adhered.
In use, the tongue formed by the upper protrusion 4 formed on one side in the transverse direction of the bottom plate 1 is inserted into the tongue insertion groove formed on the edge of the lower protrusion 5 and the surface decoration plate 2 on the other side. 6) It is used as a finishing material on the indoor floor by fitting several floorboards together.
The floorboard of the present invention constructed in this way is manufactured by forming a protrusion in the middle of one side of the solid wood board or plywood for flooring and forming a recess in the middle of the other side through a tongue-and-groove processing machine. , natural wood or reinforced wood veneer is laminated on a board made of MDF or particle board, or veneer veneer or printed veneer transfer paper is glued, and then passed through a tongue-and-groove processing machine to form a protrusion in the middle of one side, and a protrusion in the middle of the other side. It was manufactured in the form of a tongue-and-groove seal with a groove into which it can be inserted. Therefore, a tongue-and-groove processing machine is needed to manufacture the tongue-and-groove, and the tongue-and-groove has to be cut one by one for each floorboard, which causes the inconvenience of cutting cost and cutting time.
The floorboard of the present invention has an upper protrusion (4) and an “ㄱ”-shaped lower step (7) formed on one transverse edge, and a lower protrusion (5) and an “ㄴ”-shaped upper step (8) on the other edge. The bottom plate (1) can be manufactured by placing waste plastic chips in a mold that can be formed and press-molding at high temperature and pressure, or by mixing an appropriate amount of adhesive and press-molding at the curing temperature of the adhesive. Since this is done by gluing the surface decoration board (2) made of single board, there is no need for a separate tongue-and-groove processing machine. By improving the cutting cost and time required by cutting the tongue-and-groove pieces one by one for each floor board, the floor plate (1) can be easily made. It can be produced.
In addition, the floorboard of the present invention is manufactured using domestic materials that were difficult to use due to poor quality such as knots in the louvre board of Korea Utility Model Publication No. 20-1994-0000063, which was the author's invention, and has an "ㄱ" shaped lower step or Unlike forming the main body plate (bottom plate) by cutting the "ㄴ" shaped upper step, it is manufactured by putting recycled plastic chips into a mold and pressing them at high temperature and pressure, or by adding an appropriate amount of elements to the recycled plastic chips. Since it is possible to mix Gina or phenolic resin and press-mold it at an appropriate temperature, there is no need for a device for cutting the bottom plate, and the manufacturing time can be shortened as there is no need for a cutting process, and the cost for cutting is reduced. There is a saving effect.
This design achieved a groundbreaking technological development by making the body plate (bottom plate) of the barb board from recycled plastic board, unlike the domestically produced material. This is like making medium-density fiberboard (MDF) or particle board instead of expensive solid wood. It can be likened to the fact that it can be used as a completely different material from raw wood, bringing about a dramatic change in manufacturing costs and uses.
In addition, the floor board of Korean Patent Publication No. 10-2002-0066607 uses a synthetic resin material, melts it, injection molds a hollow panel (1) with a hollow part (3) formed, and attaches a plate material (8) thereon. A structure for attaching a foamed polyethylene sheet 10 to the lower part has been disclosed.
In general, laminate flooring is manufactured by using medium-density fiberboard (MDF) or particle board as the inner core (base material), and gluing natural wood, reinforced wood, veneer veneer, or printed veneer transfer paper on top of it, and wood or wood-based material is used as the surface material. Using a veneer is a common technique. The difference in the floor board is that a synthetic resin hollow panel (1) is substituted as the inner core material instead of medium density fiberboard (MDF) or particle board used as the inner core material, but the plate material (8) of the floor board is made of woody material. It should be limited to being bonded to the hollow panel (1) made of synthetic resin of the floor board.
However, the floor board (1) of the present invention is made of a recycled plastic plate made by recycling waste plastic, and its raw material is completely different from the synthetic resin hollow panel (1) made using the synthetic resin material of the floor board. This is like wood floorboards and medium-density fiber (MDF) floorboards, which use the same wood material, but medium-density fiberboard is made by crushing wood into fibers and pressing them again, so there is a difference between solid wood and medium-density fiber flooring, which are the materials of wood flooring. MDF is like a completely different material.
In addition, the above-mentioned floor boards use fresh plastic, melt it, inject it into a mold, solidify it, and then pull it out, so a huge amount of fresh plastic is used, rather than wooden floorboards, plywood floorboards, or MDF floorboards. There is a possibility that the material cost of fresh plastic will be more expensive, and there is a flaw in that it takes a lot of time and money for melting, injection molding, and solidification. However, the present design turns discarded plastic into chips and presses and molds them at high temperature and pressure, or in an appropriate amount. Because the adhesive can be added and pressure molded, the cost of the material produced is low, the manufacturing time is shortened, and manufacturing is simple, which has the effect of producing inexpensive floorboards.
In addition, the above-mentioned floor board must be manufactured separately from the synthetic resin hollow panel (1), the wood-based plate material (8) as the surface plate, and the expanded polyethylene sheet (9) as the bottom plate, and then glued together one by one to produce the floor board. Although it is inconvenient, takes a long time to manufacture, and is expensive to manufacture, the design of the present invention is easy to manufacture because only the floor plate (1) and the surface decoration plate (2) are manufactured separately and glued together using an adhesive layer (3). It has the advantage of short production time and low production cost.
In addition, in the flooring board published in Korean Patent Publication No. 10-2008-0068205, a flexible flooring board is attached to a rigid flooring board, and the two flooring materials are combined in a misaligned manner to form protrusions and grooves, and the grooves correspond to the protrusions. has been disclosed, but in this case, if the floor surface to be constructed is uneven, the joint between the flooring materials is lifted, and if the flexible flooring material attached on top is also deformed or distorted, there is a defect in that the joint between the flooring materials is lifted. . The joint of the flooring board is not a solid tongue-and-groove joint, so it is completely different from the tongue-and-groove joint of the present invention.
In addition, a flooring material has been disclosed that is characterized in that protrusions and grooves are formed by the intermediate layer by combining the intermediate layer between the rigid flooring material and the flexible flooring material in a misaligned manner. However, in this case, the rigid flooring, the flexible flooring, and the intermediate layer must be manufactured separately, and each floorboard must be glued separately, so the bonding process takes a long time and the bonding cost is high, which is a defect.
However, in the present design, unlike the above flooring boards, which require the rigid floor plate, the flexible floor plate, and the intermediate material layer to be manufactured separately and glued one by one, the floor plate (1) and the surface decoration plate (2) are easily bonded by the adhesive layer (3). This has the effect of saving manufacturing time and making tongue-and-groove floorboards with low manufacturing costs because cheap plastic raw materials are used.
In general, there are 7 types of synthetic resins discharged from homes, etc.: 01 PET, 02 HDPE, 03 PVC, 04 LDPE, 05 PP, 06 PS, and 07 OTHERS. Since each has different properties, they should be discharged separately, but in reality, Waste vinyl such as transparent PET, hard plastic, LDPE, Styrofoam (polypossible foam), and other (OTHER) are being discharged. Among the discarded synthetic resins, this design does not use waste vinyl such as LDPE, Styrofoam (foamed PS), PVC and others that generate toxic gases at high temperatures, and collects and disposes of hard PET, PP, and HDPE excluding these. It is used as a material for the floor plate.
The present invention selects PET, PP, and HDPE, crushes them to a fine size of about 1~5mm, makes chips, puts them in a mold, and plasticizes the PET without melting at a temperature close to 230℃, which is the crystal melting temperature of PET. When the pressure is the highest, the bottom plate can be manufactured by pressurizing it.
As described above, waste plastic can be recycled to make floorboards, so the present invention can recycle discarded plastic as the main raw material for floorboards, and because it uses discarded waste plastic, raw materials can be obtained at a low cost, and manufacturing costs can be reduced. This has the effect of reducing environmental pollution caused by waste plastic.
Currently, global plastic production worldwide reaches 460 million tons in 2020, but the recycling rate is only a small fraction of 9%, which is used as textile raw materials, automobile parts, and pyrolysis processing, 12% is incinerated, and the remaining 79% is landfilled. As waste plastic can be recycled or accumulated in the environment, causing enormous environmental pollution, the present design has the effect of reducing various environmental pollution caused by waste plastic by recycling a significant amount of such waste plastic.
