Description
본 발명은 불꽃반응색 비교 실험 장치에 관한 것으로, 보다 상세하게는 금속원소의 불꽃반응 실험시 발생하는 금속원소의 고유색을 비교하면서 실험할 수 있는 실험 장치에 관한 것이다.The present invention relates to a flame reaction color comparison experiment apparatus, and more particularly, to an experiment apparatus capable of performing the experiment while comparing the intrinsic colors of metal elements generated during the flame reaction experiment of metal elements.
금속 원소를 포함한 물질을 온도가 높은 겉불꽃에 넣으면 금속 원소의 종류에 따라 특유의 불꽃색을 나타내는데, 이를 불꽃 반응이라고 한다. 다양한 불꽃놀이나 컬러 양초는 모두 금속 원소의 불꽃 반응을 이용한 것이다. 염화나트륨과 질산나트륨의 불꽃색은 노란색인데, 이는 두 물질에 공통으로 포함된 나트륨 원소 때문이다. 마찬가지로 칼륨 원소를 포함하고 있는 염화칼륨과 질산칼륨의 불꽃색은 연한 보라색이며, 구리 원소를 포함하고 있는 염화구리와 질산구리의 불꽃색은 청록색, 스트론튬 원소를 포함하는 염화스트론튬과 질산스트론튬의 불꽃색은 빨간색이다. 이처럼 금속 원소는 고유의 불꽃색을 나타내므로 불꽃 반응을 시켰을 때 나타나는 불꽃색으로 물질에 포함된 금속 원소를 확인할 수 있다. 하지만 기존 실험 장치는 금속 원소 한 개씩만 확인할 수 있어서 색이 다른 금속원소와 비교하여 실험할 수는 없다는 단점이 있었다. 이번에 개발한 실험 장치는 이런 단점을 보완하여 금속원소의 고유색을 비교하면서 실험할 수 있는 실험 장치이다.When a substance containing a metal element is put into an outer flame with a high temperature, a characteristic flame color is displayed depending on the type of metal element, which is called a flame reaction.
