Abstract

Description

고관절 대체 보철물에서 비구컵으로부터 비구 볼을 제거하기 위한 도구 및 방법
본 발명은 역고관절 보철물과 관련하여 사용되는 수술 기구에 관한 것이다. 더 구체적으로, 본 발명은 비구컵으로부터 비구 볼을 추출하기 위한 수술 도구와 관련 있다.
역고관절 보철물은 미국 특허 제 8,313,531 B2호 및 제 8,540,779 B2호에 기재되어 있다. 보철물 및 재수술 방법 또한 미국 특허 제 8,992,627 B2호에 기재되어 있다. 이 3개의 특허의 개시 내용은 전부 본 문서에 참조로 포함된다.

도구(1)는 본 발명의 제1실시예이며 도1에서 투시적으로 도시되어 있다. 도구(1a)는 본 발명의 제2실시예이며 도2에서 입면도로, 도12에서 부분 분해도로 도시되어 있다.

Claims (7)

  1. 비구컵으로부터 비구 볼을 추출하기 위한 수술 도구로서, 상기 비구볼은 상기 비구컵의 오목부로부터 연장하는 스템에 모스 테이퍼(Morse Taper)에 의해 고정되며, 상기 비구컵은:
    죠 샤프트로서, 죠샤프트의 말단부에 배치하는 2개 또는 2개 이상의 죠를 구비하며, 각각의 죠는 상기 죠샤프트의 중심축에 수직인 축을 중심으로 피봇 가능하며, 나사형 근위 단부를 구비하는 죠샤프트;
    상기 죠 샤프트가 동심원으로 배치되는 외측 샤프트로서, 그것의 말단부에 고정되는 벨 형상의 요소를 구비하며, 상기 죠샤프트가 상기 도구의 근위 단부를 향해 근위 이동을 함으로써 상기 죠가 상기 벨 형상의 요소 내로 끌어 당겨지는 경우에 상기 벨 형상의 요소는 이것의 말단부에서 개방되고 상기 죠가 폐쇄되도록 내부적으로 크기가 정해지며, 상기 벨 형상의 요소는 상기 비구컵의 원주 방향 컵 에지에 결합하도록 크기가 정해지는 말단부에서 원주 방향 벨 에지를 구비하는 외측 샤프트; 및
    상기 죠 샤프트의 근위 단부 상으로 나사 결합되는 죠샤프트 너트로서, 상기 너트의 조임은 상기 외부 샤프트의 근위 단부에 말단 방향으로 압력을 가하며, 상기 죠 샤프트가 상기 외부 샤프트에 대해 근위 방향으로 움직이도록함으로써 상기 죠우가 상기 비구 볼 상에 견인력을 가하게 되며, 상기 죠 샤프트 너트가 충분히 조여짐으로써 상기 비구볼이 상기 스템으로부터 분리될 때까지 상기 벨 형상의 요소의 원주 방향 벨 에지가 상기 비구컵의 원주 방향 컵 에지 상에 대항하는 힘을 가하도록 하는 죠샤프트 너트를 포함하는 것을 특징으로 하는 수술 도구.
  2. 제1항에 있어서,
    상기 외부 샤프트의 근위 단부에 고정되는 외부 샤프트 너트를 추가로 포함하며, 상기 죠 샤프트 너트 및 상기 외부 샤프트 너트는 서로에 인접하여 배치되며 상기 죠샤프트 너트는 상기 외부 샤프트 너트 근위에 배치되는 것을 특징으로 하는 도구.
  3. 제2항에 있어서,
    상기 죠 샤프트 너트 및 외부 샤프트 너트는 각각 그것의 중심축에 수직인 구멍을 추가로 포함하며, 각각의 구멍은 로드(rod)를 수용하도록 크기가 정해지며 상기 로드는 상기 외부 샤프트 너트에 대하여 상기 죠샤프트 너트를 회전시키기 위한 지렛대 효과를 제공하는 것을 특징으로 하는 도구.
  4. 제3항에 있어서,
    렌치 또는 다른 도구의 결합을 용이하게 하여 증가된 지렛대 효과를 제공하도록 상기 죠 샤프트 너트 및 상기 외부 샤프트 너트 중 하나 또는 모두는 그 외부 표면 상에 평평한 부분을 추가로 포함하는 것을 특징으로 하는 도구.
  5. 제1항의 수술 도구를 포함하는 키트.
  6. 제1항의 수술 도구를 사용하는 방법에 있어서,
    모스 테이퍼(Morse taper)에 의해 상기 비구컵의 오목부로부터 연장하는 스템에 고정되는 비구볼 위에 상기 죠를 배치하는 단계, 및 상기 벨 형상의 요소의 원주 방향 벨 에지와 상기 비구컵의 원주 방향 컵 에지를 접촉시키는 단계, 및 상기 비구컵이 상기 스템으로부터 분리될 때까지 원위방향으로 상기 비구컵을 밀면서 근위 방향으로 상기 죠 스템을 당기는 단계를 포함하는 것을 특징으로 하는 방법.
  7. 제6항에 있어서,
    상기 죠 스템은 상기 죠샤프트 너트의 조임에 의해 원위 방향으로 상기 비구컵을 밀면서 상기 근위 방향으로 당겨지는 것을 특징으로 하는 방법.
