Abstract
Description
FIELD OF THE INVENTION The present invention relates to a gun management system, and more particularly, to a system for managing the personalization of military personnel by using a biometric module and an identification module.
Generally, the current army has an actual arsenal that keeps a large number of weapons for training or emergency situations. In order to facilitate the entrance and departure of the army in preparation for work, It is distributed and managed in the administrative office. However, firearms and simple arsenals were locked and locked with key locks and checked by human eyes.
Furthermore, when the weapons and ammunition / weaponry were released from the arsenal and weaponry in the arsenal, they were not immediately aware of the fact that they had escaped from a certain area, and that they were immediately aware of the fact and reported to local units as well as senior units in real time.
Therefore, firearms and ammunition may be leaked and caught by deserters or illegal intruders in the unit, and in such cases, the facts can not be confirmed in real-time in the situation room or command system, and it was difficult to take prompt action. This often leads to social problems such as the loss of valuable lives or property.
In order to solve such a problem, Korean Patent Laid-Open Publication No. 1020100110468 discloses a system for managing the loading or unloading of firearms by using an RFID tag attached to a firearm.
However, even in this prior patent document, it is possible to easily access the gun management by deodorization of a key or the like, and it is impossible to prevent bringing in or out of a firearm, and the present invention is intended to solve such a problem .
In order to solve the above problems, the present invention has been made to solve the above-mentioned problems, and it is an object of the present invention to provide a method and apparatus for authenticating access to a firearm management unit by using biometric information of an individual soldier, managing importing or exporting of firearms using an identification module, It is aimed to smartly manage firearms by storing them on a server and managing them using mobile devices.
In order to achieve the above object, according to an embodiment of the present invention, a firearm management apparatus is disclosed. The firearm management system includes a biometric module for authenticating biometric information of an individual soldier; And an identification module for managing the loading or unloading of the firearm.
In addition, the biometric module may include at least one of a fingerprint recognition module, a pupil recognition module, a palm recognition module, and a blood vessel recognition module.
In addition, the identification module may include an RFID module.
In addition, the firearm management unit may further include a communication module for transmitting and receiving information obtained from the biometric module or the identification module.
According to another embodiment of the present invention, a system for managing firearms is disclosed. The firearm management system includes a biometric module for authenticating biometric information of an individual soldier, an identification module for managing the loading or unloading of the firearm, and a communication module for transmitting and receiving information obtained from the biometric module or the identification module A firearm manager; And a server for transmitting and receiving the information from the firearm management unit.
In addition, the server may transmit the information transmitted and received from the firearm manager to the mobile device.
In addition, the biometric module may include at least one of a fingerprint recognition module, a pupil recognition module, a palm recognition module, and a blood vessel recognition module.
In addition, the identification module may include an RFID module.
According to another embodiment of the present invention, a method for managing a firearm is disclosed. The method includes: authenticating biometric information of an individual soldier using a biometric module included in a firearm management box; And managing the loading or unloading of the firearm using an identification module included in the firearm management box.
In addition, the method may further include transmitting and receiving information on authentication of the biometric information and information on bringing in or out of the firearm to the server.
According to the configuration of the present invention, it is possible to prevent unauthorized entry or exit of a firearm, and efficiently manage a flow of incoming or outgoing firearms.
1 shows a schematic view of a firearm management system according to an embodiment of the present invention.
2 shows a flowchart of a firearm management method according to another embodiment of the present invention.
In the following, an embodiment of a gun management system and method according to the present invention will be described with reference to the accompanying drawings.
The components, features, steps, and components referred to in this specification as being " comprising " herein mean that there is a corresponding component, feature, step, and component, It should be understood that they do not exclude equivalents. Also, it is noted that the present invention includes plural forms as long as not specifically mentioned in the specification. In other words, it should be noted that elements such as the term " comprises " herein may mean the presence or addition of one or more other elements or the like.
Although the technical terms used throughout this specification have selected generic technical terms that are currently in common use, there are also some terms selected by the present applicant in some cases, and in this case, rather than being limited to the name of the term, The meaning should be understood in the context of the context in which it is described or used.

2 shows a flowchart of a firearm management method according to another embodiment of the present invention.
Referring to Figure 2, a method for managing firearms is disclosed. The method includes: (201) authenticating biometric information of an individual soldier using a biometric module included in a firearm management box; And managing (202) the import or export of the firearm by utilizing an identification module included in the firearm management box.
First, an individual soldier authenticates the biometric information of an individual soldier by utilizing a biometric module, so that identification of individual soldiers and / or whether importing or exporting of firearms by individual soldiers should be allowed is confirmed.
The biometric module may include at least one of a fingerprint recognition module, a pupil recognition module or a palm recognition module, and a blood vessel recognition module, but is not limited thereto.
For example, if the biometric module is a blood vessel recognition module, the individual soldier can verify whether the individual is qualified to bring in or take out the firearm by contacting his / her biometric module and / or who the identity is.
Next, when the soldier brings in or exits the firearm, the identification module recognizes the identification means attached to the firearm, so that it can confirm which firearm among the firearms existing in the firearm management box has been carried in or out. Since the identification of the soldier has been confirmed in the
The identification module and the identification means may be an RFID module and an RFID tag, respectively, but are not limited thereto. For example, the identification means 101 may be attached to the buttock portion of the gun in the form of an RFID tag.
In addition, the method may further include a step (203) of transmitting and receiving information on authentication of biometric information and information on bringing in or out of the firearm to a server.
Information about the identity of an individual soldier authenticated by the biometric module and information about the import or export of the gun identified by the identification module can be transmitted and received to the server using the communication module included in the gun management box.
While the present invention has been particularly shown and described with reference to exemplary embodiments thereof, it is clearly understood that the same is by way of illustration and example only and is not to be construed as limiting the scope of the invention as defined by the appended claims. It is to be understood that one form also falls within the scope of the present invention.
