Abstract
The present invention relates to detergent compositions that are less irritating to the human body, and more particularly to hypoallergenic body cleansing compositions containing alkyl polyglucoside sulfonates and containing cationic polymers. The detergent composition of the present invention contains an alkyl polyglucoside sulfonate in place of SLES as a surfactant, so that it has no skin irritation, and is excellent in cleaning effect and stability.
Description
The present invention relates to detergent compositions that are less irritating to the human body, and more particularly to hypoallergenic body cleansing compositions containing alkylpolyglucoside sulfonates and containing cationic polymers.
In general, detergents for human body such as shampoo, body wash, foam cleanser and the like are used for cleaning the body that is stained by sweat or various sebum secreted through human metabolism. Conventional detergents for the human body are typically products in which the surfactant sodium lauryl ether sulfate (SLES) is the main surfactant component.
The detergent composition comprising the conventional SLES surfactant has excellent detergency, but SLES has a disadvantage of severe skin irritation. In addition, the ethylene oxide and sulfate functional groups included in SLES have a problem of generating dioxane which is harmful to human body.
Recently, researches have been actively conducted to develop a detergent containing an hypothetical surfactant such as ethylene oxide free by replacing the SLES surfactant with a detergent for human body.
As an alternative to SLES, for example, alkyl polyglucosides are environmentally friendly and hypoallergenic surfactants, and attempts have been made to develop detergent compositions comprising them. However, the alkylpolyglucoside has a relatively high price in comparison with a surfactant such as SLES, which is conventionally used, and has a problem that it is difficult to commercialize the surfactant because of its poor stability and compatibility when it is formulated into a product.
Accordingly, there is a need to develop a detergent composition containing a hypo-surfactant capable of replacing the SLES surfactant while improving the compatibility of the alkyl polyglucoside.
A problem to be solved by the present invention is to provide a detergent composition containing a cationic polymer and replacing SLES with a surfactant which is less irritating to the human body.
In order to solve the above problems, the present invention provides hypoallergenic human cleanser compositions comprising a cationic polymer comprising alkyl polyglucosides sulfonate.
As a result of intensive research efforts to overcome the problems of the prior art, the present inventors have found that when alkylpolyglucoside sulfonate is used instead of SLES which causes skin irritation as a surfactant in a detergent composition, I also found an amazing fact that it is excellent. Further, the present inventors have found that the addition of an auxiliary surfactant can further increase the stability and cleaning effect, thereby solving the problem that the compatibility of the alkyl polyglucoside sulfonate is poor, thus completing the present invention.
In addition, a cationic polymer is used in the human body detergent composition of the present invention to improve the feeling of use, and the stability of the detergent composition is reduced when the cationic polymer is included. Accordingly, the present invention provides an incredible discovery that the stability of the composition is significantly improved even when containing a cationic polymer when the alkylpolyglucoside sulfonate, preferably alkyl polyglucoside sulfonate, and cosurfactant are contained in the human cleanser composition Thereby completing the present invention.
In the present invention, the alkyl polyglucoside sulfonate means a compound represented by the following general formula (1).
[Chemical Formula 1]
The R 1 may be an alkyl group of C 8-18, preferably a C 8-14 alkyl group, most preferably a
(2)
The detergent composition according to the present invention may comprise any one or a mixture of two or more selected from the group consisting of alkyl polyglucoside sulfonates wherein R 1 is an alkyl group of
In the present invention, the alkylpolyglucoside sulfonate may be contained in an amount of 0.1 to 10% by weight, preferably 1 to 9% by weight, more preferably 2 to 8% by weight, based on the total weight of the composition. When the amount of the alkyl polyglucoside sulfonate is less than 0.1% by weight, the cleaning effect is insignificant. When the amount exceeds 10% by weight, there is a problem in the formulation stability.
In the present invention, the cationic polymer is used for improving the feeling of use of the human body detergent composition, and at least one selected from the group consisting of polyquaternium-7, polyquaternium-10, and guar hydroxypropyltrimonium chloride, But is not limited thereto. Preferably, polyquaternium-10 as the cationic polymer may be used.
The cationic polymer may be contained in an amount of 0.1 to 3% by weight, preferably 0.2 to 1% by weight, more preferably 0.3 to 0.7% by weight based on the total weight of the composition. When the amount of the cationic polymer is less than 0.1% by weight, the effect of improving the feeling of use of the human body detergent composition is insignificant. When the amount exceeds 3% by weight, the stability of the composition is impaired.
The detergent composition according to the present invention may further comprise an auxiliary surfactant. The cosurfactant may be selected from the group consisting of alaninate, glycinate, sulfosuccinate, glutamate, sulfobetaine, and sarcosinate, and the like. Amino acid surfactants; Taurate; And isethionate, and the like.
More specifically, the amino acid surfactant is selected from the group consisting of N-cocoylalaninate, N-acylpotassium glycine, lauroyl glutamate, thiecocoyl alaninate, lauryl sarcosine, cocoyl sarcosine, Sarcosinate, and sodium cocoylalinate. However, the present invention is not limited thereto.
The detergent composition according to the present invention is excellent in the stability and cleaning effect of the detergent composition when the auxiliary surfactant, preferably an amino acid surfactant, more preferably allaninate, glycinate, or a mixture thereof is further included.
In the present invention, the cosurfactant may be contained in an amount of 0.1 to 10% by weight, preferably 1 to 9% by weight, more preferably 2 to 8% by weight based on the total weight of the composition. If the co-surfactant is less than 0.1% by weight, the effect of improving the cleaning ability is insignificant. If the co-surfactant is more than 10% by weight, there is a problem in formulation stability.
The alkylpolyglucoside sulfonate: cosurfactant is present in an amount of from 10: 1 to 1:10, preferably from 7: 3 to 3: 7 and most preferably of from 5: 5 (alkylpolyglucoside sulfonate: Active agent). A detergent composition comprising such a surfactant in such a weight ratio is excellent in stability and cleaning effect.
The detergent composition according to the present invention may comprise less than 0.1% by weight, preferably less than 0.01% by weight, based on the total weight of the composition of sodium lauryl ether sulfate (SLES), most preferably SLES I can not. The detergent composition according to the present invention has an advantage that skin irritation is remarkably reduced by replacing SLES, which is a surfactant, with alkylpolyglucoside sulfate.
In addition, the detergent composition according to the present invention may further include an amphoteric surfactant in order to enhance the cleaning effect, and the amphoteric surfactant is not particularly limited as long as it can be used in a common cosmetic composition, It is also possible to use amphoteric surfactants such as 2-undecyl-N, N, N- (hydroxyethylcarboxymethyl) -2-imidazoline sodium, 2-cocoyl-2-imidazolinium hydroxide- 2 sodium salt and the like); Betaine surfactants such as 2-heptadecyl-N-carboxymethyl-N-hydroxyethylimidazolinium betaine, lauryldimethylaminoacetic acid betaine, alkylbetaine, amide betaine and sulfobetaine) But is not limited thereto. Preferably the detergent composition of the present invention may comprise cocamidopropyl betaine as an amphoteric surfactant.
The detergent composition according to the present invention further includes at least one selected from the group consisting of preservatives, pH adjusters, flavors, dyes and the like which are conventionally usefully used in the cleaning composition in order to maintain the basic properties and quality as a detergent composition .
The detergent composition according to the present invention may be used for human body cleaning purposes. More specifically, it may be, but not limited to, shampoo, foam cleanser, body wash, soap, liquid cleansing agent, bath agent, or cleansing oil.
The present invention also relates to a composition comprising 0.1 to 10% by weight of an alkyl polyglucoside sulfonate based on the total weight of the composition, 0.1 to 10% by weight of allaninate, glycinate or a mixture thereof, and 0.1 to 3% by weight of polyquaternium- Or a pharmaceutically acceptable salt thereof. For the purpose of the present invention, the human cleanser composition having the above composition ratio is most preferable since it has no skin irritation and excellent stability of the composition.
The present invention also relates to the use of alkylpolyglucoside sulphonate in a solvent and an auxiliary surfactant such as alaninate, glycinate, sulfosuccinate, glutamate, sulfobetaine, , And an amino acid surfactant comprising sarcosinate; And at least one selected from the group consisting of taurate, isethionate, and the like is added to the detergent composition.

In the following Experimental Example, a shampoo composition comprising an alkyl polyglucoside sulfonate (AGS) surfactant and a shampoo composition comprising a conventional sodium lauryl ether sulfate (SLES) Strength, and skin irritation.
Experimental Example 1: Quality evaluation of detergent for human body
The shampoo compositions of Example 1 and Comparative Example 1 were prepared according to the ingredients shown in the following Table 1 as a conventional shampoo manufacturing method.
When using the shampoo compositions of Example 1 and Comparative Example 1, the hair feel, drying speed, and decontamination effect were compared and evaluated. Twenty adult men and women were allowed to use the shampoo compositions of Example 1 and Comparative Example 1 once a day for one week. Satisfaction was assessed by scoring 10 points on the scale and high satisfaction on 10 points.
(Evaluation standard)
Bubble volume: the amount of bubbles felt during shampoo is expressed as satisfaction
Hair texture: The degree of softness of hair after shampoo is expressed as satisfaction
Decontamination effect: Satisfies the cleaning effect of sebum and contaminants left on the scalp after shampooing
From the results shown in the above Table 2, it was confirmed that the shampoo composition of Example 1 including AGS had a similar bubble amount to that of Comparative Example 1 including SLES, but had better hair feel and decontamination effects. In addition, it was confirmed that the shampoo composition of Example 2 containing AGS also had a similar bubble amount to that of Comparative Example 1, but had better hair feel effect.
Experimental Example 2: Evaluation of bubble strength
The foamability was evaluated by using the Ross miles method when the shampoo compositions of Example 1 and Comparative Example 1 were used. The procedure was carried out for 200 seconds by measuring the height (purity) of the foam produced when the aqueous solution containing 1% by weight of the shampoo composition was dropped from the top of the main column while maintaining the temperature at 37 캜.
In view of the results shown in Table 3 above, the SLES shampoo composition and the AGS shampoo composition were found to have almost equal foaming power.
Experimental Example 3: Evaluation of irritation
The irritation was assessed using the HET-CAM method (Hen's Egg Chorioallantoic Membrane) evaluation. SLES: AGS at a weight ratio (SLES: AGS) of 10: 0, 8: 2, 6: 4, 4: 6, 2: 8, 0:10 was prepared and evaluated for their irritancy. From the results shown in the graph of FIG. 1, it was confirmed that the detergent composition containing AGS had reduced irritancy as compared with that containing SLES.
Experimental Example 4: Stability evaluation
Comparative Example 2 and Comparative Example 3 were prepared in the proportions shown in Table 4 below, and the stability of the prepared composition was evaluated by observing the state of the prepared composition and the precipitation. The evaluation results are shown in Table 5 below.
The composition of Comparative Example 2 or Comparative Example 3 was in an opaque state and the stability was poor due to precipitation. On the other hand, it was confirmed that the composition of Example 1 or Example 2 did not precipitate in a transparent state and was excellent in stability.
