BACKGROUND OF THE
Generally, the automatic transmission is equipped with a parking device that locks the parking gear provided on the output shaft in the "P" (Parking Range) range by sprags to maintain the vehicle in a stopped state.
When the select lever provided on the vehicle is converted into the "P" range, the control lever, the select shaft, and the detent lever associated therewith rotate integrally to push the parking rod, do.
Since one end of the sprag is rotatably installed on the sprag shaft, when the parking rod moves and contacts the sprag, the sprag rotates about the sprag shaft.
As a result, the sprag projections integrally provided in the sprags are inserted and engaged with the gears of the parking gear, thereby locking the automatic transmission.
BACKGROUND ART [0002] The background art of the present invention is disclosed in Korean Patent Laid-Open Publication No. 2009-0111961 (published on October 28, 2009, entitled "Parking Device for Automatic Transmission").
Since the number of sprocket projections connected to the sprocket is one, when the weight of the vehicle is increased, the capacity of the parking gear for the automatic transmission is insufficient and the operational reliability is lowered. Therefore, there is a need to improve this.
It is an object of the present invention to provide a parking apparatus for an automatic transmission that is capable of improving the operational reliability of an automatic transmission by increasing the braking force of the automatic transmission.
A parking device for an automatic transmission according to the present invention includes: a parking rod that linearly moves in conjunction with a change of select lever; a sprocket that is rotatably installed in the transmission housing and is rotated in a direction in which a parking gear is pushed by the parking rod; And a second projection member protruding from a side surface of the sprag opposite to the gear to engage with the parking gear, and a second projection member protruding from the side surface of the sprag member spaced apart from the first projection member and engaged with the parking gear.
The parking rod preferably includes a rod body that is linearly moved toward a direction in which the sprag is installed, and a cap member that has a wedge-shaped sloped surface and is mounted on the tip of the rod body.
The sprags preferably include a body portion hinged to the transmission housing by a sprag shaft and contact protrusions extending from the body portion and located in a path through which the cap member is moved.
It is preferable that the first projection member and the second projection member protrude from the side of the body portion facing the parking gear.
The distance between the first projection member and the second projection member preferably corresponds to the width of the engagement tooth provided on the outside of the parking gear.
It is also preferable that the first projection member and the second projection member are provided along the same circumferential shape as the outer periphery of the parking gear.
In the parking device for an automatic transmission according to the present invention, the first projection member and the second projection member engage with the parking gear in association with the movement of the parking rod, thereby increasing the braking force of the automatic transmission. The operation reliability of the automatic transmission can be improved.

In addition, the terms described below are defined in consideration of the functions of the present invention, which may vary depending on the intention or custom of the user, the operator. Claims (6)
A sprocket rotatably installed in the transmission housing and rotated in a direction in which the parking gear is installed by being pushed by the parking rod;
