Abstract
Description
The present invention relates to a natural perfume composition having a preservative effect and a cosmetic composition containing the same.
Cosmetics are used to keep skin clean and to maintain health. It is important to ensure safety because it is a product that is repeatedly used on the skin for a long time. However, since cosmetics contain a large amount of water, contamination by bacteria or fungi is apt to occur. Such microbial contamination causes physical changes such as odor, color change, and viscosity change, which not only affects the quality of cosmetics, When applying cosmetics to the skin, it may cause inflammation or skin trouble due to the microorganisms introduced through the wound.
Representative chemical preservatives used in cosmetics to prevent microbial degeneration include parabens such as methylparaben, propylparaben, and ethylparaben. Parabens are also effective against fungi including filamentous fungi and filamentous fungi and have a wide spectrum of antimicrobial spectrum against bacteria. Therefore, they are the most widely used and frequently used preservatives in the world. However, there is a report that parabens have a tendency to cause allergic contact dermatitis, and there are also studies on the possibility of inducing environmental hormones and tolerance (1998, Toxicology and applied pharmacology). In addition, Dr. Filipa Davor, MD, a tumor specialist, said, "The analysis of 20 different breast cancer tumor samples showed that all of the parabens were detected, especially in four samples, the parabens were more than twice the mean value" . In addition, the parabens were found to be seeped into the body through the local rather than the celestial state.
Many problems of parabens and recent changes in people's perception have made it possible to find a raw material for cosmetic formulations that does not have skin irritation and is self-preserving, not a synthetic preservative such as parabens.
Natural spices are one of the oldest preservatives used in ancient Egypt to cure corpses. One of the reasons why plants make secondary metabolites, such as natural essential oils, is to prevent attacks by bacteria, viruses and fungi. The first action of essential oils on bacteria and viruses occurs in the cell membrane. Essential oils are known to cause confusion in the regular osmotic action of bacteria and virus membranes.
Methods for extracting natural fragrances include steam distillation, solvent extraction, headspace and solid phase microextraction (SPME) methods.
The steam distillation method is economical and has a merit that it can be extracted in a large amount, and is used as a method of extracting most natural fragrance. However, since the heat is applied, there is a disadvantage that the original fragrance of the plant can be changed. Since the solvent extraction method uses a solvent such as a nucleic acid, a secondary reaction between the fragrance and the solvent may occur, but it is suitable for extracting the delicate flower fragrance because it does not apply heat. The SPME method does not use solvents and does not require pretreatment, so it can quickly and easily analyze fragrance components. In recent years, supercritical extraction method using CO 2 gas at a low temperature has been used, but it has disadvantages in that a high quality fragrance can be obtained, but an economical cost is incurred.
Abies sibirica oil is one of the oils extracted from the needle and sole called fir needle oil. Siberian fir (A. sibirica) is more famous in Europe and the United States for the most common funnel in the direction of refinement . This tree grows up to 30 ~ 35m, has the same resin as other fir trees, and has strong fragrance. In aromatherapy, it is used as an antibacterial and respiratory therapy oil.
The orange flower oil (Citrus aurantium dulcis flower oil) is also used as a perfume by Italian princess Neroli, also called Neroli, and has been used in many folk remedies. Neroli is a green tree that grows up to 10 meters and has polished dark green leaves and fragrant white flowers. In aromatherapy, it is known for its soothing and stress relieving, aphrodisiac, preservative and antibacterial properties, and it has a sweet and slightly tangy fresh scent.
Damas Clove Flower Oil (Rosa damacena) is the highest grade oil in the fragrance, according to British Herbal Pharmacopoeia Rose Hip is rich in vitamin C oil is currently used. Rose is a small, thorny shrub that grows about 1 to 2 meters high and has pinkish-scented flowers and white, hairy leaves. In aromatherapy, it is often used for depression and insomnia.
Thymus vulgaris is one of the first plants to be used for treatment. It is mainly used for respiratory disorders, gastrointestinal disorders, and can be used for dyspepsia, chronic gastritis and bronchitis in UK herbal medicine. Thyme Thyme is a perennial evergreen tree that grows up to 45cm and has many branches. Leaves are green with green aroma and flowers are pale purple or white.
In the present invention, a cosmetic composition having an antiseptic effect using natural perfumes was prepared. As a result, it was found that the cosmetic composition of the present invention contains Abies sibirica oil, Citrus aurantium dulcis, Rosa damacena ab, Oil (Thymus vulgaris) at a certain ratio, the present inventors have completed the present invention by confirming that there is an excellent preservative effect.
To achieve the above object, according to a preferred embodiment of the present invention, the present invention provides a composition containing Abies sibirica oil, Citrus aurantium dulcis, Rosa damacena and Thymus vulgaris ) As an active ingredient.
According to another preferred embodiment of the present invention, the perfume composition comprises 30 to 50% by weight of secretory tree oil, 20 to 40% by weight of neroli oil, 5 to 30% by weight of damascone oil and 5 to 30% To 20% by weight as an active ingredient.
The present invention also provides a cosmetic composition comprising the perfume composition.
The present invention provides a fragrance composition containing secretory oil, neroli oil, damascene oil and sunflower oil, which can be applied to cosmetics to provide a preservative effect similar to a synthetic preservative.
The perfume composition according to the present invention has a fresh, natural floral fragrance and excellent palatability. Also, the perfume composition according to the present invention can be applied variously to orient products, skin care products, and the like.
The present invention provides a perfume composition containing, as an active ingredient, Abies sibirica oil, Citrus aurantium dulcis, Rosa damacena, Thymus vulgaris.
In order to use the natural fragrance as a raw material for cosmetics (preservative), the production amount must be stable and the price must be taken into consideration. Therefore, the natural fragrance used in the present invention is extracted by steam distillation .
The perfume compositions provided by the invention are capable of reducing adverse effects due to the use of synthetic preservatives due to their excellent repellency. In the present invention, "preservative" means resistance to all contaminating microorganisms such as bacteria, fungi and yeast, and "repellency" means protection against these contaminating microorganisms.
The composition according to the present invention preferably contains Abies sibirica oil, Citrus aurantium dulcis, Rosa damacena and Thymus vulgaris. In particular, the perfume composition comprises 30 to 50% by weight of Abies sibirica oil, 20 to 40% by weight of neroli oil (Citrus aurantium dulcis), 5 to 30% by weight of damascone oil (Rosa damacena) And 5-20% by weight of thymus vulgaris. If the content of the oil is out of the above range, the antiseptic effect expected can not be obtained, and the preference of the fragrance is remarkably decreased to lower the value of the product.
The perfume composition mixed in the above range may be formulated as an external skin container such as an ointment, a usable burn, a suspension, a gel, a spray, a papper, a warning agent, a patch or a water puff, as well as cosmetics such as lotion, cream, emulsion and the like . The blending amount of each of these formulations can be suitably selected and compounded in order to achieve the desired effect according to the conventional techniques in the art. Preferably, the perfume composition may be contained in an amount of 0.1% to 1.0% by weight based on the total weight of the cosmetic composition.
