Abstract
Description
The present invention relates to a method for detecting a CANBUS OFF using a message, and more particularly, a CANBUS OFF detection using a message detecting a CANBUS OFF through whether a message from devices is input to a radar sensor through the CANBUS. It is about a method.
In general, radar is a wireless sensor that detects the distance, speed and direction to the target by using electromagnetic waves. Radar has been mainly used as expensive equipment for military detection, aviation, ships, etc. Recently, an anti-collision radar for vehicles has been developed and used in some expensive vehicles.
Radars mounted on these vehicles are mounted on the left and right sides of the vehicle, respectively. The radar on the left can both send and receive messages, while the radar on the right can only receive messages.
Because of this, when a can bus off occurs on the left and right radars, the left radar detects the can bus off and generates a data troble code (DTC) to fail the can bus off on the electronic control unit (ECU). Record the code.
However, the right radar does not detect can bus off. As a result, the right radar has a problem that a message is not received from various devices, causing a reception timeout failure code.

The method of claim 1, wherein checking whether the message transmitted from the remaining device is received within a preset waiting time
A method for generating a timeout code using a message, characterized in that the counter is counted each time the timeout check period set for each of the remaining devices elapses and the number of timeout counters of all the remaining devices reaches a set number of counters. .
2. The method of claim 1, wherein the waiting time is set according to the longest period of a period in which a message is transmitted from the device via a CAN bus.
