BACKGROUND OF THE INVENTION 1. Field of the Invention The present invention relates to hair irons for straight or wave treatment of hair, and more particularly to hair irons that enable permanent wave treatment in wet conditions.
Hair iron for straightening or wave treatment of hair is a hair treatment device that achieves a predetermined procedure in a condition in which the hair is dry, that is, in a dry state in which the washing water of the hair or a liquid or high viscosity accelerator for hair treatment is removed.
Such hair irons are known for a type of hair iron having a pair of arms or fingers which are pivotally coupled to each other to open and close movements. There is provided a forming plate having a pair of arms which are closed and unfolded as they are applied or released, and these arms free end sides are formed on the surface side facing each other. At least one of these shaped plates is connected with a heater that is electrically heated.

The present invention has been made in consideration of the above circumstances, and an object thereof is to cover the hair treatment member portion of the arm with a thick member so that heat is not directly transmitted to the hair, so that the procedure can be performed on wet hair and due to heat transfer.
