Abstract

An extensible oil fence is disclosed. According to an embodiment of the present invention, the extensible oil fence includes: a floating body having a wrinkle part extending in the lengthwise direction and having a space into which air or water can be injected; a blocking film extending downward from the floating body; and multiple weights installed in the lower part of the blocking film to be apart from each other.

Description

Extensible oil fence {EXTENSIBLE OIL FENCE}

The present invention relates to a retractable oil fence that can be extended in use and reduced in length when not in use.

The oil spilled into the sea due to ship accidents spreads rapidly due to the effects of waves and algae. Therefore, when an oil spill occurs at sea, it is most important to prevent oil from spreading by installing an oil fence around the pollution source quickly.

A typical oil fence has a cylinder-shaped float floating above the water surface, a blocking membrane extending downward from the float, and a weight attached to the bottom of the blocking membrane. Many of these oil fences are connected in a strip shape, so that the oil fence can surround the contamination source in the floating state on the water surface to prevent the oil from spreading. Japanese Unexamined Patent Application Publication No. 11-107259 (published on April 20, 1999) and Korean Unexamined Patent Publication No. 10-2000-0031848 (published on June 5, 2000) have proposed this type of oil fence.

As the floating body of the oil fence, there has been used a high-grade float which is made of a material such as plastic and always maintains its shape, and a variable float which can be inflated by using air when used.

Since the high-strength float always maintains its shape, it is excellent in the effect of shutting off the oil by keeping the floating state satisfactorily even when the maritime situation is poor. However, high-volume float is bulky and difficult to store and handle.

Variable float has the advantage of reducing volume during storage and transportation, but it can cause oil leakage because it can be folded and deformed in poor marine conditions.

An embodiment of the present invention is intended to provide a stretchable oil fence capable of expanding and contracting a float to facilitate storage and handling and to maintain high rigidity in a state in which the float is stretched.

According to an aspect of the present invention, there is provided a fluidized bed apparatus comprising: a float having a wrinkle portion that can be expanded and contracted in the longitudinal direction and having a space into which air or water can be injected; A blocking membrane extending downward from the float; A flexible oil fence including a plurality of weights installed in a spaced apart state below the barrier layer may be provided.

The wrinkle portion may have a shape in which a plurality of bones and acids formed in the circumferential direction of the floating body are alternately disposed in the longitudinal direction of the floating body.

The float may further include a connecting device provided at both ends of the float for connecting the float of the adjacent oil fence.

The connection device includes a slot-shaped connection groove formed at one end of the float in the vertical direction, and a connection rail formed in the other end of the float in the vertical direction, . ≪ / RTI >

The barrier membrane may further include attachment portions provided at both ends of the barrier membrane to connect to the barrier membrane of another oil fence disposed adjacent to the barrier membrane.

The float may further include an inlet for injecting air or water into the float, and a cap for opening and closing the inlet.

Since the stretchable oil fence according to the embodiment of the present invention can expand and contract the float in the longitudinal direction, the float can be elongated when used and can be shortened when not in use. That is, the volume can be minimized when not in use, so it is easy to store and handle.

Further, the stretchable oil fence according to the embodiment of the present invention has a plurality of corrugated portions in the form of a bone and an acid on the outer surface of the float, so that it can be expanded and contracted, and has high rigidity that can withstand external forces in the radial direction. Therefore, deformation of the float can be prevented even when severe waves occur and weather conditions deteriorate.

Hereinafter, embodiments of the present invention will be described in detail with reference to the accompanying drawings. DETAILED DESCRIPTION OF THE PREFERRED EMBODIMENTS The present invention will now be described more fully with reference to the accompanying drawings, in which exemplary embodiments of the invention are shown. The present invention is not limited to the embodiments shown, but may be embodied in other forms. For the sake of clarity of the present invention, the drawings are omitted, and the width, length, thickness, and the like of the components may be somewhat exaggerated to facilitate understanding.

1 and 2, a stretchable oil fence 100 according to an embodiment of the present invention includes a float 110 floating on the sea, a blocking membrane 130 extending downward from the float 110, And a plurality of weights 140 provided at the lower portion of the barrier 130.

The float 110 is provided in a cylindrical shape and has a wrinkle portion 111 which can be stretched or shrunk in the longitudinal direction and has a space 114 into which air or water can be injected. The corrugated portion 111 has a plurality of troughs 112 and a plurality of troughs 113 formed in the circumferential direction of the float 110 and alternately arranged in the longitudinal direction of the float 110, (113) is bendably connected.

The float 110 can be stretched in the longitudinal direction as shown in Fig. 2 when used, and when not in use, the folded portion 111 can be folded to reduce the overall length as shown in Fig. 3 . The float 110 may be provided by a resin material having a predetermined stiffness. In addition, the trough 112 and the mountain 113 may be formed to be relatively thin so as to be capable of folding and unfolding. Here, the case where the shape of the float 110 is cylindrical as a whole is illustrated, but the shape of the float 110 is not limited thereto. The float may be in the form of a square or a pentagonal column.

The float (110) can be sealed in the space (114) filled with air or a predetermined amount of water. 2, at least one injection port 115 may be formed at one end of the float 110, and a cap 116 for opening and closing the injection port 115 may be coupled to the injection port 115, . Accordingly, the float 110 may inject air through the injection port 115 to extend the length of the float 110, and tighten the stopper 116 to maintain the sealing. Of course, when not in use, as shown in Fig. 3, the inside air can be discharged to reduce the length. In addition, the buoyancy of the float 110 may be adjusted by injecting water through the injection port 115 and filling a predetermined amount of water into the float 110.

The float (110) is provided with a connecting device (120) at both ends so as to be connected to the float of another oil fence installed adjacent thereto. 1, the connecting device 120 includes a slot-shaped connection groove 121 formed at one end of the float 110 in a vertically elongated manner, And a connection rail 122 which is formed to be long in the direction of the sliding connection and is coupled to the connection groove 121 in a sliding manner. This is because the connecting rails 122 are inserted into the connecting grooves 121 to connect the floats of the adjacent oil fences.

As shown in FIG. 2, the connecting device 120 is positioned above the water surface in the state where the adjacent float 110 is connected, and the lower end of the connecting device 120 is submerged below the water surface, Can be prevented.

Although the present embodiment shows a connection device 120 in the form of a connection groove 121 and a connection rail 122, the connection device 120 is not limited to this form. Although not shown in the drawing, the connecting device includes a connecting plate provided at both ends of the float 110, the connecting plate being vertically long, and a fastening means such as a bolt for fastening the connecting plates in a state in which the connecting plates of the respective floats overlap Lt; / RTI >

The blocking layer 130 may be provided by a material such as vinyl that can be folded or unfolded. The upper end of the blocking membrane 130 may be attached to the lower portion of the float 110 in an integrated form. The shielding film 130 may include folds that can be folded or unfolded like the folded portions 111 of the float 110.

At both ends of the blocking membrane 130, there may be provided an attachment part 131 for connecting to a shielding film of another oil fence installed adjacent to the shielding membrane 130. The attaching portion 131 may be constituted by an adhesive means such as a double-sided adhesive tape or a Velcro tape.

The plurality of weights 140 are coupled to the lower part of the barrier 130 in a spaced-apart relationship. The weight 140 may be made of a metal material such as lead. The weight 140 can maintain the state where the blocking membrane 130 is spread downward in the water so that the oil can be prevented from leaking out of the oil fence 100 even if the float 110 moves upward and downward due to the waves.

The following describes how to use such a stretchable oil fence.

As shown in FIG. 3, when the oil fence 100 is not used (stored or transported), air or water in the float 110 is separated from the oil fence 100 And discharged to the outside. Also, in this state, the corrugated portion 111 of the float 110 is folded to minimize the length of the float 110. At this time, the barrier 130 also collapses with the float 110 to reduce its volume. As described above, the oil fence 100 of the present embodiment is easy to store and handle since the volume can be minimized when not in use.

When the oil fence 100 is installed on the sea, as shown in FIGS. 1 and 2, air is injected into the float 110 to extend the float 110 in the longitudinal direction. When the float 110 is stretched, the blocking layer 130 connected to the float 110 also spreads widely. In this case, the injection port 115 of the float 110 is opened, air is injected, and the injection port 115 is closed by the stopper 116, so that the float 110 can be maintained in a stretched state. Of course, when the buoyant force of the float 110 is to be adjusted, a predetermined amount of water may be injected into the float 110 during this process.

Although the method of forcibly injecting air into the float 110 for stretching the float 110 has been described above, since the float 110 is formed of a resin material having a predetermined stiffness, 115 can be extended only by pulling in the longitudinal direction while the air is introduced into the float 110 in this process.

After the float 110 is stretched, the oil fences 100 are installed on the sea in such a manner that a plurality of oil fences 100 are interconnected as shown in FIG. In this case, the plurality of oil fences 100 may be connected in a strip shape using the connection groove 121 and the connection rail 122 at both ends of the float 110. The blocking membrane 130 may be connected to the blocking membrane 130 of another adjacent oil fence 100 by using the attachment unit 131.

When the oil fence 100 is installed as described above, most of the float 110 floats above the water surface, and the lower portion is kept slightly submerged below the water surface. The shielding film 130 is held downward by the weight 140 in a state where it is immersed in water. Therefore, such an oil fence 100 can confine the oil floating on the inside thereof to prevent the oil from spreading. Here, the case where the oil fence 100 is installed on the sea is described, but the oil fence 100 can be installed not only on the sea, but also on a river or a lake.

The float 110 is provided not only by a resin having a predetermined stiffness but also because it has a wrinkle portion 111 including a plurality of troughs 112 and a mountain 113 on its outer surface, It has high rigidity that can withstand. Therefore, even when a severe wave occurs and weather conditions deteriorate, deformation such as distortion does not occur in a form in which the cross-sectional area decreases. In other words, although slight warpage may occur in the longitudinal direction, the deformation in the radial direction hardly occurs, so that it is possible to maintain a satisfactory floating state comparable to the conventional solid fluid.
