Description

Foot-and-mouth disease simple diagnosis tool {FMD Virus Early Detection Kit}

The present invention relates to a foot-and-mouth virus simple diagnostic apparatus, and more particularly, to a foot-and-mouth virus simple diagnostic apparatus that can be easily confirmed by the non-professional virus.

Foot and Mouth Disease (FMD) is a very fatal disease with a severe hoof for animals (cows, pigs, sheep, goats, deer, etc.). Therefore, if it occurs in one place, it is spread rapidly and serious financial damage to the livestock farms, as well as causing many problems such as environmental pollution, disruption of meat and milk supply due to our death.

A common diagnostic method for foot and mouth disease is saliva secretion, limping in infected animals, and whether vacuoles form in the mouth and feet, causing fever. As a serological diagnostic method, there is a method of confirming the presence of an antigen or antibody known as a virus causing foot and mouth disease.

Although the serological diagnosis is essential for accurate determination of foot-and-mouth disease and proper prevention, the cost of equipping expensive livestock farms with expensive diagnostic equipment becomes a heavy burden, and non-expert farmers or breeders conveniently handle the equipment. Because it is difficult to judge accurately, the situation is not responding quickly in the field.

The present invention has been made in view of the above, it is possible to easily check whether the foot and mouth disease or foot and mouth infections by buried the animal's saliva or runny nose, so it is possible to quickly control the epidemic virus that can block the spread of epidemic virus simple diagnosis To provide a mechanism, the purpose is.

Foot and mouth virus simple diagnostic apparatus according to an embodiment of the present invention is formed in a cylindrical shape and a plurality of support holes are formed in the upper surface, and is inserted into and supported in each of the support holes formed in the upper surface of the case is formed of a porous body at the lower end The sampling part is installed and the diagnostic pad is installed on the upper handle side, and the sampling part and the diagnostic pad are formed in a state in which the sampling part pen is connected to each other through the capillary part and one-to-one corresponding to the support hole at the inner bottom of the case. It comprises a solution storage unit, a test solution stored in the solution storage unit, and a sealing film for sealing the upper surface of the solution storage unit.

It is also possible to install a cover on the upper surface of the case to prevent foreign substances or contaminants from flowing into the case while the sample collecting pen is in use before use.

The sealing film is preferably formed of a material having a strength enough to be ruptured when pressed by the collecting portion of the specimen collection pen to be inserted into the collecting portion.

The diagnostic pad is configured such that when the test solution is absorbed, a part of the foot-and-mouth virus is changed in color. For example, it is configured to turn red if the foot and mouth virus is included, and turn green if the foot and mouth virus is not included.

According to the foot-and-mouth virus simple diagnostic apparatus according to an embodiment of the present invention, the saliva or runny nose of the animal is simply buried in the sampling part of the sampling pen and the sampling pen is inserted into the test solution of the case, and then the diagnostic pad It is possible to check whether the animal is infected with foot-and-mouth disease by checking whether the color changes, so it is possible for non-experts to easily check whether the foot-and-mouth disease is infected, and it is possible to quickly perform the prevention activity and block the transmission. .

Next, a preferred embodiment of the foot-and-mouth virus simple diagnostic apparatus according to the present invention will be described in detail with reference to the drawings.

The present invention can be embodied in various forms and is not limited to the embodiments described below.

DETAILED DESCRIPTION OF THE PREFERRED EMBODIMENTS Hereinafter, the present invention will be described in detail with reference to the accompanying drawings, wherein like numerals refer to like elements throughout.

First, the foot-and-mouth disease virus diagnostic tool according to an embodiment of the present invention, as shown in Figures 1 to 2, comprises a case 10 and the specimen collection pen 20.

The case 10 is formed in a cylindrical shape, and a plurality of support holes 13 are formed in the upper surface.

The support hole 13 is formed in a number corresponding to the number of the specimen collecting pen 20 to be configured as one set. For example, it is preferable to form four to ten support holes 13.

The specimen collection pen 20 is composed of a collecting portion 24, a handle 22, and a capillary portion 26.

The specimen collecting pen 20 is inserted into and supported in the support holes 13 formed in the upper surface of the case 10, respectively.

The collecting unit 24 is formed of a porous body at the lower end of the specimen collection pen 20.

For example, the collection part 24 can be formed using cotton, sponge, cloth, or the like.

A diagnostic pad 28 is installed inside the handle 22, and a transparent window 29 is installed on the handle 22 so that the diagnostic pad 28 is easily seen from the outside.

The diagnostic pad 28 is impregnated or applied with an antigenic agent in response to the antigen of foot-and-mouth virus.

Since the antigenic drug that is impregnated or applied to the diagnostic pad 28 can be generally used as an indicator for detecting foot-and-mouth disease virus, detailed description thereof will be omitted.

The diagnostic pad 28 is configured to change the color when a portion of the foot and mouth virus antigens. For example, as shown in FIG. 4, when foot-and-mouth virus is contained, it turns red, and when it does not contain foot-and-mouth virus, it can also be comprised so that it may turn green.

The collecting portion 24 and the diagnostic pad 28 are connected to each other through a capillary tube installed inside the capillary portion 26.

When the sampling unit 24 and the diagnostic pad 28 are connected to each other through a capillary tube as described above, when a sufficient solution is supplied to the collecting unit 24, the sample collected to the diagnostic pad 28 is naturally moved by capillary force. Done.

The solution storage part 30 is formed at an inner lower end of the case 10.

The solution storage unit 30 is formed in a state partitioned so as to correspond to the support hole 13 one-to-one.

The solution storage unit 30 is partitioned by installing a partition 16 on the inner surface of the case 10.

The solution storage unit 30 is filled with the test solution 40 is stored.

The test solution 40 acts to dissolve the sample on the collecting part 24 of the sample collecting pen 20 so that the capillary force acts so that the sample moves to the diagnostic pad 28.

On the upper surface of the solution storage unit 30, a sealing film 50 is installed to seal the test solution 40 so that the test solution 40 is not leaked to the outside or the adjacent test solution 40 is not mixed with each other.

When the sealing film 50 is pressed by the collecting part 24 of the sample collecting pen 20, it is ruptured, and the collecting part 24 is inserted into the material and has a strength enough to be in contact with the test solution 40. It is preferable to form.

For example, the sealing film 50 may be formed using a synthetic resin film, or the like, and a cut line may be formed so as to rupture as necessary.

It is also possible to install a cover 70 on the upper surface of the case 10 to prevent foreign substances or contaminants from flowing into the case 10 while the sample collection pen 20 is inserted before use. Do.

The cover 70 may be configured using a synthetic resin film or the like coated with an adhesive on one side so that the cover 70 can be easily removed at the time of use.

Next, a process of using the foot-and-mouth virus simple diagnostic apparatus according to an embodiment of the present invention configured as described above will be described.

As shown in FIG. 3, the cover sheet 70 provided in a sealed state is removed, and one sample collecting pen 20 is taken out of the case 10 and collected in the nose or mouth of the animal to be examined. Insert the sample (24) so that the runny nose or saliva is sufficiently buried in the collecting part 24 to collect the sample.

As described above, the sample collection pen 20, in which the sample is attached to the collecting unit 24, is inserted into the case 10 again. In this case, the sample collection pen 20 is collected by applying a force to be inserted deeper than the initial state. The part 24 is immersed in the test solution 40 while rupturing the sealing film 50.

By repeating the above process, the specimens are collected using all the specimen collection pens 20 constituting one set, and after waiting for a while, the specimen buried in the collecting portion 24 is dissolved in the test solution 40 and the capillary portion Along with the capillary of (26) is moved toward the diagnostic pad 28, the diagnostic pad 28 is changed in color depending on whether the foot and mouth virus is included.

Therefore, even non-experts can easily sample and determine the presence of viruses.

Although the foot-and-mouth disease virus has been described above as an example, it is also possible to utilize for the detection and diagnosis of various viruses by changing only the configuration of the diagnosis pad 28 in correspondence.

In the above, a preferred embodiment of a foot-and-mouth virus simple diagnostic apparatus according to the present invention has been described. However, the present invention is not limited thereto, and various modifications can be made within the scope of the claims, the specification, and the accompanying drawings.
