Abstract
Description
The present invention relates to a case for a portable terminal, and more particularly, to a case for a portable terminal having a heat dissipation function capable of cooling the heat generated in the portable terminal.
Mobile terminals such as mobile phones, smartphones, and tablet PCs generate heat during operation. Since many electronic components are mounted inside the portable terminal, heat is generated during operation.
Recently, as the performance and functions of such a mobile terminal are unimaginably developed, heat generated during operation is increasing. By the way, heat generated from the portable terminal must be cooled.
If it is not cooled, the user who mainly uses the mobile terminal by hand feels great inconvenience and anxiety. In the case of smart phones that are rapidly increasing in number of users, the heat is generated so that it is difficult for the user to hold in hand.
In addition, if the heat generated in the portable terminal is not cooled properly, the operation of the portable terminal is adversely affected. In some cases, an accident such as a failure of the portable terminal or an explosion may occur.
On the other hand, users who use a mobile terminal such as a mobile phone, a smartphone, or a tablet PC often use a case attached to the mobile terminal. The user uses the case to protect the portable terminal, to improve the grip of the mobile terminal, or to improve the aesthetics.
As the case material, silicon, plastic, or the like is mainly used. In general, the case surrounds the rest of the cell phone, except for the part provided with the LCD screen of the smartphone.
However, as described above, the conventional portable terminal case has only functions such as protection of the portable terminal, improved grip and improved aesthetics, and no technical considerations for cooling the heat generated in the portable terminal. It is not.
SUMMARY OF THE INVENTION An object of the present invention is to provide a case for a portable terminal capable of overcoming the above limitations of the case for a common portable terminal and cooling the heat generated in the portable terminal effectively.
In order to achieve the above object, the present invention is a case for a mobile terminal including a mobile phone, a smart phone, a tablet PC, in close contact with the rear side opposite to the front side with the screen portion of the mobile terminal Thermal pad that can be delivered; An inner surface of the heat sink in close contact with the thermal pad to receive heat, and an outer surface of the heat sink including a heat dissipation portion capable of dissipating the received heat into the air; And a main body member for tightly fixing the thermal pad and the heat sink to the portable terminal.
On the other hand, it is preferable that at least a portion of the thermal pad is provided with an adhesive tape.
In addition, the heat sink preferably includes a base member in close contact with the thermal pad, and a plurality of heat dissipating parts protruding from the base member and spaced apart from each other.
On the other hand, the heat sink of the heat sink is preferably made of aluminum.
In addition, the main body member includes a first member and a second member, wherein the first member and the second member, while fixing the respective edge portions of the thermal pad and the heat sink to the portable terminal, It is desirable to be detachably coupled to the portable terminal.
In addition, at least a portion of the main body member is preferably formed integrally with the heat sink.
On the other hand, it is preferable that the side of the thermal pad is further provided in close contact with the side of the portable terminal to receive heat.
According to the portable terminal case of the present invention, it is possible to obtain the effect that the heat generated in the portable terminal can be effectively cooled.
According to the case for a portable terminal of the present invention, since the thermal pad is in close contact with the rear surface of the portable terminal, the heat generated in the portable terminal can be effectively transferred to the heat sink, whereby it can be more effectively cooled.
According to the case for a portable terminal of the present invention, it is possible to obtain the effect that the heat generated in the portable terminal can be cooled effectively regardless of the shape of the portable terminal.

On the other hand, in another embodiment, the heat sink may be made of a metal, such as titanium, magnesium, in addition to a metal, aluminum, a relatively high thermal conductivity. The heat sink can also be configured as a plate heat pipe.
In other words, a plate-like plate heat pipe like the base member of the first embodiment may be employed as a heat sink without providing heat radiating fins projecting outward. In this case, rather than dissipating heat from the portable terminal to the outside, it is effective to prevent a phenomenon in which only a portion of the heat is heated by spreading over the entire area of the heat sink.
Such a plate-shaped heat pipe is preferably applied to a case of a tablet PC such as Apple's 'iPad' series product and Samsung's 'Galaxy Tab' series rather than a mobile phone.
On the other hand, even when the heat sink is provided with a plate-shaped heat pipe, it may be provided with a plurality of heat dissipation fins protruding on the outer surface, if necessary.
