Advantages and features of the present invention, and methods for achieving them will be apparent with reference to the embodiments described below in detail in conjunction with the accompanying drawings. However, the present invention is not limited to the embodiments disclosed below, but will be implemented in various forms, and provided to fully inform the scope of the invention to those skilled in the art. It is intended that the invention be defined only by the scope of the claims. In the following description, well-known functions or constructions are not described in detail since they would obscure the invention in unnecessary detail.
The press molding method according to the present invention is a method for molding a steel sheet material into a predetermined shape using a press die, and is a press molding method capable of reducing a spring back phenomenon.
Spring back refers to a phenomenon in which the amount of bending decreases due to elasticity to recover the original shape when the material is bent by applying a load and then the load is removed during the bending of the plastic material.
Among the many components used in the manufacture of vehicles, structural materials are often manufactured using a press molding method. Recently, in the automobile industry, reduction of exhaust gas for environmental pollution and high fuel efficiency for energy saving have been pursued. As a way of doing this, many automakers are increasing the use of thin, high tensile steel sheets. The use of high strength steel sheets of 50 kg or more is increasing rapidly, and the use of ultra high strength steel sheets of 100 kg or more is gradually increasing.
By the way, when the high tensile strength steel sheets are molded by a press working method, a spring back phenomenon occurs.
The present invention proposes a method for forming a preliminary shape after forming the preliminary shape first, in order to reduce the spring back phenomenon.
At this time, the molding into the preliminary shape and the molding into the final shape are performed through separate press molds.
Specifically, the present invention includes a drawing step of pressing the steel sheet material to form a preliminary shape having a drawing depth larger than the final shape, and a forming step of pressing the material molded in the preliminary shape to form a final shape.
In other words, the preliminary shape is determined to have a height greater than that of the final shape. When the height of the preliminary shape increases, the height of the final shape increases, and the surface subjected to the tensile force in the process of processing the steel sheet material into the preliminary shape may receive a compressive force in the process of processing the preliminary shape into the final shape. In this way, the springback occurrence can be reduced, since the portions expected to generate the springback are pressed and processed sequentially on both sides.
1 is a process diagram schematically showing a drawing step of a press forming method of a high tensile strength steel sheet according to the present invention.
As shown in the drawing, the drawing step is a process of pressing the steel sheet material into the preforming
The preforming mold includes a preforming
At this time, the preliminary shape height h1 is preferably in the range of 105 to 120% of the height of the final shape (h2 in FIG. 2). The preliminary shape height h1 is equal to the drawing height made in the preforming
If the preliminary shape height h1 is less than 105% of the final shape height h2, the amount of processing in the forming step is too small to bring about a sufficient springback reduction effect,
If the preliminary shape height h1 exceeds 120% of the final shape height h2, the amount of processing in the forming step is too large, which adversely affects the molding precision.
The
2 is a process diagram schematically showing a forming step of a press forming method of a high tensile strength steel sheet according to the present invention.
As shown, the forming step is a process of pressing the material formed into a preliminary shape to form a final shape.
The forming step is performed by the final punch die 210 and the final die die 220 corresponding to the final shape. The
Since the material formed in the preliminary shape has a height higher than that of the final shape, the material is subjected to pressing force from the
That is, the steel sheet material is subjected to pressing force in the direction of the
3 is a cross-sectional view of a preliminary shape and a final shape of a press forming method of a high tensile strength steel sheet according to the present invention.
When comparing the preliminary shape and the final shape, the height h1 of the preliminary shape 10-1 is larger than the height h2 of the final shape 10-2. In addition, when the final shape 10-2 includes the curvature 16-2, the preliminary shape 10-1 also includes the curvature 16-1. However, at this time, the radius of curvature R1 of the curvature 16-1 of the preliminary shape 10-1 is larger than the radius of curvature R2 of the curvature 16-2 of the final shape 10-2. This is because the pressing force is made from the inside of the curvature to the outside during the processing of the preliminary shape (10-1) in the drawing step, so as to be able to press the curvature from the outside to the inside in the forming step.
Specifically, the radius of curvature R1 of the curvature 16-1 of the preliminary shape 10-1 is 105 to 120 of the radius of curvature R2 of the curvature 16-2 of the final shape 10-2. It is preferably in the% range.
The forming step when the radius of curvature R1 of the curvature 16-1 of the preliminary shape 10-1 is less than 105% of the radius of curvature R2 of the curvature 16-2 of the final shape 10-2. The amount of compression processing is too small to bring about a sufficient spring back reduction effect, and the radius of curvature R1 of the curvature 16-1 of the preliminary shape 10-1 is the curvature 16 of the final shape 10-2. If the radius of curvature of -2) is more than 120%, the amount of processing in the forming step is too large, which adversely affects the molding precision.
