Inoculum was used after diluting to form 200-300 lesions in Nicotiana glutinosa ( N. glutinosa ). The test plants used for inoculation were Nicotiana glutinosa , N. tabacum cv., A local lesion host, which showed hypersensitivity to PMMoV. Samsun NN and cv. Zanthi nc was used and N. tabacum cv. Samsun NN was used and 5-6 leafy plants grown for 4 weeks in greenhouse conditions after sowing were used.

Zanthi nc를 이용한 반엽법(half leaves method)을 이용하였다. 이들의 전개엽 중 식물체당 2~4개의 반엽에 엘라그산(ellagic acid)을 경엽살포하고 나머지 반엽은 증류수로 경엽처리한 후 1~24시간 후에 엽표면에 바이러스를 접종한다. 감염억제 효과는 접종 2~5일 후 나타나는 엘라그산-처리반엽과 무처리(증류수)살포 반엽의 병반수를 세어 하기와 같이 산정한다.The PMMoV Inhibitory Activity Assay was tested by Nicotiana glutinosa , N. tabacum cv.
