Abstract
Disclosed is a method and system for providing an electronic payment service using a user terminal. A method of providing an electronic payment service using a user terminal may include: generating a payment request message including payment information from a merchant terminal and transmitting the payment request message to a carrier billing support server; Generating and transmitting to the user terminal, transmitting a payment approval request message including a predetermined personal identification number and a payment method at the user terminal to a carrier payment support server, and corresponding to the payment approval request message at the carrier payment support server. Today, buyers can use their credit cards to process payments at online or offline merchants.
