Claims (9)
- 제 1 전극판, 제 2 전극판 및 세퍼레이터를 포함하는 전극조립체;상기 전극조립체를 수용하는 캔; 및상기 캔의 개구부를 덮는 캡조립체;를 포함하고, 상기 캡조립체는,중앙부에 제 1 홀을 포함하며, 상기 제 1 전극판에서 돌출되는 제 1 전극탭과 전기적으로 연결되는 캡플레이트;상기 캡플레이트의 하부에 위치하는 절연플레이트;상기 절연플레이트의 하부에 위치하는 터미널플레이트;상기 캡플레이트, 상기 절연플레이트 및 상기 터미널플레이트에 삽입되며, 상기 제 2 전극판에서 돌출되는 제 2 전극탭과 전기적으로 연결되는 전극단자; 및상기 캡플레이트의 하면 일측에 위치하는 단락플레이트;를 포함하고, 상기 이차전지에 종압축력이 가해질 때, 상기 단락플레이트는 상기 터미널플레이트 또는 상기 제 2 전극탭과 서로 접촉하여 단락되는 것을 특징으로 하는 이차전지.
- 제 1 항에 있어서,상기 단락플레이트는,상기 캡플레이트의 하면 일측에 위치하는 제 1 플레이트;상기 제 1 플레이트와 연결되는 제 2 플레이트; 및상기 제 2 플레이트와 연결되며, 상기 터미널플레이트의 하면과 이격되어 대향하는 제 3 플레이트;를 포함하는 이차전지.
- 제 2 항에 있어서,상기 제 3 플레이트는 평평한 다각 형상으로 이루어지는 것을 특징으로 하는 이차전지.
- 제 2 항에 있어서,상기 제 3 플레이트의 일측은 뾰족하게 이루어지는 것을 특징으로 하는 이차전지.
- 제 2 항에 있어서,상기 제 2 플레이트와 상기 터미널플레이트 사이의 거리는 1 내지 3mm인 이차전지.
- 제 2 항에 있어서,상기 제 3 플레이트와 상기 터미널플레이트 사이의 거리는 0.5 내지 1mm인 이차전지.
- 제 1 항에 있어서,상기 단락플레이트는 상기 캡플레이트와 용접되어, 전기적으로 연결되는 것을 특징으로 하는 이차전지.
- 제 1 항에 있어서,상기 단락플레이트는 상기 제 1 전극판과 동일한 극성을 가지고, 상기 터미널플레이트는 상기 제 2 전극판과 동일한 극성을 가지는 것을 특징으로 하는 이차전지.
- 제 1 항에 있어서,상기 단락 플레이트는 니켈(Ni) 또는 니켈 합금으로 이루어지는 것을 특징으로 하는 이차전지.
