Abstract
The present invention relates to a method for providing a mobile terminal linked telematics service.
In accordance with another aspect of the present invention, there is provided a method for providing a mobile terminal interworking telematics service, by which a mobile terminal downloads and installs an application for performing telematics logic; And outputting the result of performing the telematics logic through the multimedia terminal in the vehicle.
The present invention does not have to have a telematics terminal by providing a telematics service through interworking with a mobile terminal and an audio device or an AVN device instead of the telematics, thereby reducing costs and extending the telematics service.
Description
The present invention relates to a method for providing a mobile terminal interworking telematics service, and more particularly, to a method for providing a mobile terminal interlocking telematics service to perform telematics logic through interworking of a mobile terminal and a multimedia terminal.
Currently, the vehicle includes various multimedia terminals such as a head unit, a telematics device, an audio device, and a navigation device for the user's convenience.
In particular, the telematics device combines a GPS (Global Positioning System) and a Geographic Information System (GIS) with a car to guide the driver through a mobile phone or PDA, It is a comprehensive information system that informs traffic information.
That is, the telematics device may be connected to a wireless communication network to perform wireless communication, and the head unit, audio, navigation, etc. may be provided with a Bluetooth module to perform Bluetooth communication with a user's Bluetooth phone or Bluetooth hands-free.
Such a telematics device is installed in a vehicle, which requires a separate modem for communication with a vehicle information center, and therefore cannot be upgraded and a user needs to subscribe to a separate phone number for telematics despite having a mobile terminal. There was this.

In accordance with an aspect of the present invention, there is provided a method for providing a mobile terminal interworking telematics service according to an embodiment of the present invention, including downloading and installing an application for performing telematics logic, and driving the application to the vehicle information center.
