Claims (7)
- 하부기판, 상부기판, 및 상기 기판들 사이에 삽입된 액정층을 포함하고, 상기 하부기판에는 상호 교차하는 게이트 라인들과 데이터 라인들에 의해 정의되는 화소영역들과, 상기 게이트 라인들 및 데이터 라인들의 교차부에는 스위칭 소자가 배치되며, 상기 상부기판에는 상기 각 화소영역 사이에 대응되도록 빛샘 방지를 위해 형성된 차광영역과, 상기 차광영역 사이사이에 컬러필터층이 배치되어 있는 액정표시장치에 있어서,구동 오프(OFF) 시 실외에서 외부 광에 의해 특정의 형태가 표시될 수 있도록 상기 특정의 형태와 대응되는 차광영역이 제거되는 것을 특징으로 하는 액정표시장치.
- 제1 항에 있어서,상기 특정의 형태는 문자, 글자, 기호, 그림, 도형 또는 선 모양 중 적어도 어느 하나의 형태로 이루어진 것을 특징으로 하는 액정표시장치.
- 제1 항에 있어서,상기 차광영역의 제거 시 각 특정의 형태에 해당하는 게이트 라인 상부, 데 이터 라인 상부 또는 게이트 라인과 데이터 라인 상부에 위치한 차광영역이 제거되는 것을 특징으로 하는 액정표시장치.
- 제1 항에 있어서,상기 차광영역이 제거된 부분의 데이터 라인은, 하부에 형성된 활성층이 복수개의 분리된 폐곡선 형상의 패턴들을 구비함으로써 굴곡 있는 형상을 갖도록 하는 것을 특징으로 하는 액정표시장치.
- 제1 항에 있어서,상기 차광영역이 제거된 게이트 라인의 인접부분에는 상기 데이터 라인과 동일한 물질을 이용하여 전기적으로 독립된 반사 구조물이 더 포함되는 것을 특징으로 하는 액정표시장치.
- 제5 항에 있어서,상기 반사 구조물은 상기 게이트 라인을 기준으로 2개의 영역으로 분리된 영역을 구비하는 것을 특징으로 하는 액정표시장치.
- 제5 항 또는 제6 항에 있어서,상기 반사 구조물 하부에 활성층을 이용하여 형성된 복수개의 분리된 폐곡선 형상의 패턴들을 구비함으로써 상기 반사 구조물이 굴곡 있는 형상을 갖도록 하는 것을 특징으로 하는 액정표시장치.
