Description
The present invention relates to a system in which a user purchases shares registered by a user automatically or through user intervention using credit points of a credit card through the Internet, and manages the same.
With a growing number of credit card users, transactions using credit cards are over half of all transactions. Credit card companies are accumulating points according to their performance in order to further enhance the use of credit cards, and actively use them for marketing. The credit card point market is growing in size due to the activation of credit cards. As of March 2009, the credit card point market is worth 1.5 trillion won, and users are using points to purchase products and discount products. . However, while there are users who actively use credit card points, there are many users who cannot use them, and even when used, there is a problem that cannot be connected to finance and investment because they are used for purchasing consumable products. The credit card points that disappear and cannot be used every year amount to 100 billion won, and in 2008, 1380 billion won were not used and disappeared.
Meanwhile, as interest in financial technology increases, interest in stocks, real estate and funds is increasing, and many people use equity and fund investments as a means of financial technology. In addition, with the development of information and communication technology technology, stock and fund investments can be carried out via the Internet, and the number of users for them has increased rapidly. Investing in stocks and funds is a widely used method by the public, but it is also true that many people are reluctant to invest in it because of the risk of loss of principal. The rapid fund repurchase in 2009, after the global recession in 2008, represents the sentiment of the general investor fearing the loss of principal.
The present invention describes a method and system for investing in stocks and funds through credit card points as a method for minimizing the fear of loss of principal in stocks and funds investment while solving the problem of unused points of credit cards. Investing through credit card points does not put the user's cash directly, so that users can minimize their fear of loss of principal. It is based on the psychological theory of mental accounting. Psychological accounting means that money (prizes, points, etc.) is easier to use than regular income (salary). Therefore, investment through points is more active than cash and increases the likelihood of investing in high-yield products. In addition, since credit card points are automatically invested in stocks and funds, it is possible to increase the point utilization by actively investing small points that were difficult to use or disappear.
Credit card companies use the points earned for marketing by purchasing products or cashing points, but many of the points earned are not consumed or expired due to overtime. By automatically investing these inefficient points in securities such as stocks as a part of Jae Tech, you can effectively use earned points and bring high profits through proper investment.
Calculate the credit points of your credit card in cash value, and if you meet the purchase conditions, you can purchase stocks (or funds) that have indicated your intention to buy in advance, or you can buy them through user intervention. Notify the user through.
Through the present invention has the following effects.
1. You can effectively use the points that disappear each year through stock trading using the points earned.
2. The user can re-technize using points rather than cash, thereby reducing the burden of principal loss. Therefore, users who do not like to invest in stocks due to the risk of loss of principal can trade stocks relatively lightly.
3. Until now, credit card points were mainly used for consumption reduction such as product purchase, but when purchasing stocks using credit card points, earned points can be used as investment rather than consumption.
4. It can bring convenience through stock trading that satisfies user's purchase condition. As a result, it is possible for the user to reduce the effort of grasping the stock quote every time, and reduce the time and effort required to grasp the stock quote.
5. Credit card companies can acquire new customers through stock trading using points. In addition, existing card users can increase the use rate of the card use, such as card conversion for investment using points.
6. Securities firms can secure all users of credit cards as potential customers through stock transactions using credit card points.
7. Due to the nature of credit card points, investment in small stocks of SMEs rather than expensive large stocks helps SMEs to invest.

1. Apply for credit card and open securities account
The user submits the card application details and the application for the security account for the credit card application (101 in Fig. 1) to the card company (100 in Fig. 1). Credit card companies open securities accounts on your behalf. Alternatively, a user may open a securities account (2001 in FIG. 1) at a securities company (200 in FIG. 1) and register a securities account number with a credit card company.
2. Credit Card Use and Earn Points
The user makes a payment (301 of FIG. 1) using a credit card as a payment method for a service or a product at a credit card merchant (300 of FIG. 1). The credit card company grants the user a reward point according to the user's payment details.
3. Register interest stocks and stock purchase preferences
The user connects through the network to the stock purchase server utilizing the points (400 in FIG. 1) and registers the stocks of interest and stock purchase conditions. This stock purchasing server can be managed by a credit card company, a securities company, or a third party. The website for stock registration and stock purchase preferences of interest has a form as shown in FIG. That is, a list of stocks that can be selected by the user appears, and a menu for selecting purchase conditions for each stock list appears. The terms of purchase may vary depending on the stock selected. For example, if the current stock of Samsung Electronics is KRW 800,000, the message “less than KRW 800,000” may appear in the purchase condition (M200 in Figure 2) when selecting Samsung Electronics in the stock selection (M100 in Figure 2). have.
For convenience of registering interest stock, a point may be automatically deducted from the fund as shown in FIG. 3. In FIG. 3, the user selects his own fund (F100) and designates an automatic deposit date and amount (F200).
4. Buy Stock
The stock purchase server (400 of FIG. 1) automatically purchases stocks based on the stocks registered by the user and the purchase condition when the user's earned points become available to purchase stocks. At this time, the algorithm for purchase is shown in FIG. When points flow into the fund, points of a certain amount are deducted as shown in FIG.
The stock purchase server automatically starts the stock purchase operation according to the stock purchase algorithm when certain conditions are satisfied (S100 in FIG. 4). The schedule condition under which the stock purchase server operates refers to a certain time (for example, 9 o'clock every day, payment date of the credit card, etc.) or a point when the points are accumulated. The first task of the stock purchase server is to check the user's earned points (S200 in Figure 4). The earned points can be obtained from the user's credit card information by connecting to the credit card server of the credit card company (100 in FIG. 1). In the next step, the user grasps the information related to the stock that the user wants to purchase through the stock purchase server (400 of FIG. 1) (S300 of FIG. 4). In addition, the unit price of the stock registered by the user is connected to the stock server of the securities company (200 in Figure 1) to determine the current stock price (S400 in Figure 4). Since the credit points and the stock price of the current credit card is grasped, it is determined whether the user can purchase the stock through the points (S500 in Fig. 4). If the purchase point is a direct purchase when the accumulated points are greater than the stock price, the user is notified via SMS or e-mail (S900 in FIG. 4). If it is not a direct purchase, determine whether the purchase conditions are satisfied (S700 in Fig. 4). If the purchase conditions are satisfied, the stock is purchased (S800 in Fig. 4).
If the points are deposited into the fund, as shown in Figure 5, the points are converted into cash value and if they are more than the set amount (F200 in Figure 3), they are credited to the fund (F400 in Figure 5) and the points are deducted (drawings). 5 F500).
By linking credit card points with securities firms, credit card companies and securities firms can:
1. Credit card companies: By expanding the range of credit card points, new customers can be created and actively used for marketing.
2. Securities company: It can acquire new customers using credit card points. You can also earn commission income from trading securities.
