Abstract

A composition of hair styling agent containing matitol and dipropylene glycol is provided to enhance coherence between the styling agent and hair and improve the persistence of the agent. A composition of hair styling agent comprises 0.1-20 weight% of setting agent, 0.1-20 weight% of maltitol, 0.1-20 weight% of dipropylene glycol as an active ingredient. The maltitol is denoted by the chemical formula 1 and dipropylene glycol is denoted by the chemical formula 2. The setting agent is polyvinylpyrrolidone, polyvinylpyrrolidone/vinylacetate copolymer, vinylprrolidone/methacrylamide/vinylimidazole copolymer, polyvinylalcohol, polyethylene glycol, and poly quarternium. The composition comprises water or ethanol.

기존의 정발제들은 대부분 고분자 물질을 이용하여 모발에 고정력을 형성하는 화장품으로서 예를 들면, 헤어스프레이, 무스, 젤 및 왁스 등이 있다. 상기 고분자 물질로는 피롤리돈, 아크릴산 및 아크릴레이트 등의 세팅제를 단독 또는 이의 공중합체 형태로 사용할 수 있으며, 이러한 고분자 물질들은 초기 사용 시 용매가 증발한 후 필름 형성을 통해 모발에 부착되며 이 필름이 모발에 고정력을 형성하여 원하는 스타일을 만든다. 이러한 세팅제는 고온, 고습상태에서는 고유의 필름 특성을 잃어버리게 되어 시간이 지나면서 모발에서의 고정력이 저하되는 단점을 보이고 있다. 이에 대한 해결 방안으로서 상기 고분자 물질들에서 내습성이 우수한 단량체 와의 공중합을 통해 고정력 저하에 관한 문제를 해결하고자 하였다. 이러한 연구를 통하여 얻어진 대표적인 내습성이 우수한 세팅제로는 폴리피롤리돈/비닐아세테이트 공중합체가 있으며, 시판품으로는 BASF사의 Luviskol VA64가 있다. 그러나 상기의 공중합체도 만족할 만한 성능을 나타내지 못하고 있는 실정이다.Conventional hair dressing agents are mostly cosmetics for forming a fixing force on the hair using a polymer material, for example, hairspray, mousse, gel and wax. [시험예 1][Test Example 1]

상기에서 제조한 실시예 1∼8 및 비교예 1∼6의 정발제 조성물이 헤어스타일 지속력에 미치는 영향을 평가하기 위하여 컬 리텐션(curl retention) 측정법을 이용하였다. 실시예 1∼8 및 비교예 1∼6의 정발제 조성물 1g을 2g의 인모발 트레스(Tress)(길이: 15cm)에 고르게 각각 도포한 후 나사선(spiral)에 감아 건조하였다. 건조된 컬 상태의 모발 트레스를 나사선에서 풀어 길이를 측정한 후, 항온 항습기(25℃, 80% 상대습도)에 넣고 2시간, 4시간 및 6시간 이후 길이를 다시 측정하였다. 5회씩 측정하여 평균으로 측정된 길이로 하기 수학식 1에 따라 컬 리텐션(Curl retention)(%)을 산출하여 지속력을 측정하였으며, 그 결과를 표 3 및 표 4에 나타내었다.
