Abstract
Description
The present invention relates to a video device, and more particularly, to a video device and a resolution control method using the same to display the optimal resolution by the user to change and set the resolution of the video device.
In general, a video apparatus forms an image so that a user can recognize a broadcast signal transmitted from a broadcasting station and a signal transmitted from an external device.
Such an image device is generally provided with a connection port for receiving a signal input from a computer, which is an external device, to exchange information with a computer through DDC (Display Data Channel) communication. This provides a video signal by transmitting various information about the video device used by the user to a computer so that the computer displays a screen optimized for the video device even if the user does not have knowledge about the video device.
Most of the general users are supported to the extent of the resolution of the video device they use, and little knowledge about which resolution is appropriate for the software they are using. Therefore, even software that requires high resolution screens such as CAD or games does not fully utilize high-performance video devices because users do not have knowledge about resolution and have no ability to directly convert and display the resolution.
