Detailed Description
The technical solutions in the embodiments of the present invention will be described below with reference to the drawings in the embodiments of the present invention.
As shown in fig. 1, an embodiment of the present invention provides a video playing method, executed in a terminal device, including:
step 101, acquiring first extended display identification data EDID of a signal processing device, wherein the first EDID comprises a first resolution;
step 102, sending a video playing control instruction to a first display device based on the first resolution, where the video playing control instruction is used to instruct the first display device to play a video at a second resolution, and the second resolution is different from the first resolution;
step 103, acquiring a second EDID of the signal processing device under the condition that the first display device plays the video at a second resolution, wherein the second EDID comprises a third resolution;
104, determining a connection state of the first display device and the signal processing device based on the second resolution and the third resolution;
and 105, instructing the first display device to play a first video based on the connection state.
In this embodiment, the video playing method may be applied to any terminal device with a communication function, for example: a Mobile phone, a Tablet Personal Computer (Tablet Personal Computer), a Laptop Computer (Laptop Computer), a Personal Digital Assistant (PDA), a Mobile Internet Device (MID), a Wearable Device (Wearable Device), or the like.
It should be understood that the signal processing device may be a television box, a set-top box, or the like, and the first display device may be understood as a television, and the television includes a screen projection module supporting a standard protocol, such as Digital Living Network Alliance (DLNA). In the case that the tv box is connected to a tv (e.g. connected via a High Definition Multimedia Interface (HDMI)), the resolution of the tv box is the resolution of the tv connected to the tv box.
It should be understood that Extended Display Identification Data (EDID) is a standard for Display Identification Data that is established by Video Electronics Standards Association (VESA) when a Display Data Channel (DDC) communication protocol is established. In the embodiment of the present invention, i.e., EDID is stored in the DDC memory of the first display device, in the case where the signal processing apparatus is connected to the first display device, the signal processing apparatus reads the EDID stored in the DDC memory of the first display device through the DDC.
The first resolution obtained in step 101 is a resolution in the EDID currently read by the signal processing device, that is, the EDID read by the signal processing device is an EDID of a display device currently connected to the signal processing device, and the first resolution is a resolution at which a video is played by a display device currently connected to the signal processing device; the second resolution obtained in step 103 is the resolution in the EDID read by the signal processing device when the first display device plays the video with the second resolution.
For example: taking the signal processing device as device a, the first display device as device B, and the device currently connected to the signal processing device as device C as examples, acquiring the first EDID of device a, that is, reading the EDID of device C through device a, that is, acquiring the first resolution as the resolution of the video currently displayed by device C; and under the condition that the device B plays the video at the second resolution based on the video playing control instruction, acquiring the second EDID of the device A, namely reading the EDID of the device C through the device A, namely, when the acquired third resolution is the video played by the device B at the second resolution, displaying the video resolution by the device C. It can be understood that the determination of whether the signal processing device (device a) and the first display device (device B) are in the connected state is a determination of whether the device C and the device B are the same device, and if the third resolution is consistent with the second resolution, it may be determined that the device B and the device C are the same device, that is, the device B and the device a are in the connected state.
It should be understood that, if the third resolution is identical to the second resolution, that is, the current resolution of the signal processing device is changed from the first resolution to the second resolution after the step 102 is executed and the current resolution of the first display device is changed to the second resolution, it may be considered that the resolution of the signal processing device is identical to the resolution of the first display device, and thus the first display device is connected to the signal processing device. If the third resolution is different from the second resolution, the resolution of the first display device is not related to the resolution of the signal processing device, and it may be considered that the first display device is not connected to the signal processing device.
It should be understood that there may be a plurality of signal processing apparatuses, and when determining whether the signal processing apparatus and the first display apparatus are in a connected state, the plurality of signal processing apparatuses may be determined individually or collectively.
For example: in the case where there are two signal processing devices, device D and device E, taking the respective determinations for the above multiple signal devices as an example: the connection states of the device D and the device E with the first display device may be respectively determined using the steps 101 to 104, so as to respectively obtain a result of whether the device D is connected with the first display device and a result of whether the device E is connected with the first display device, and the determination processes of the device D and the device E may be performed simultaneously or sequentially; taking the common determination of the multiple signal devices as an example, the resolution of the device D and the resolution of the device E may be obtained in the step 101, respectively, and in the step 102, it may be understood that the second resolution is different from both the resolution of the device D and the resolution of the device E, so that when determining the connection state between the device D and the first display device, the determination as to whether the resolution of the device D and the resolution of the device E change with the resolution of the first display device may be implemented, that is, the connection state between the device D and the first display device may be obtained simultaneously.
It should be understood that whether the first display device plays the video at the second resolution may be determined by the feedback result sent by the first display device in response to the video playing control command, or the first display device may default to play the video at the second resolution after sending the video playing control command to the first display device for a preset time (e.g., 3 seconds, 10 seconds, etc.). In this way, the obtaining of the second EDID of the signal processing device in step 103 may be performed after receiving a response of playing the video at the second resolution sent by the first display device, or may be performed after a preset time of executing step 102, or may actively obtain the current resolution of the first display device at a preset time interval after executing step 102.
It should be understood that after the connection state between the first display device and the signal processing device is determined, if the first display device is connected to the signal processing device, no matter a first video is projected to the first display device or projected to the signal processing device, the first video can be played through the first display device, so that when the scenario to be switched, the resolution to be switched, the played video and the like are limited in copyright, the first video can be played through switching between the first display device and the signal processing device. The first video may be a next episode of a currently played video of the first display device, a video with a different resolution of the currently played video, or another video that is projected by a user.
In the video playing method provided by the embodiment of the present invention, first extended display identification data EDID of a signal processing device is obtained, where the first EDID includes a first resolution. Secondly, a video playing control instruction is sent to a first display device based on the first resolution, the video playing control instruction is used for instructing the first display device to play a video with a second resolution, and the second resolution is different from the first resolution. Then, in a case where the first display device plays the video at the second resolution, a second EDID of the signal processing device is acquired, the second EDID including the third resolution. Further, a connection state of the first display device and the signal processing device is determined based on the second resolution and the third resolution. And finally, based on the connection state, instructing the first display device to play a first video. In the method, EDID of the signal processing device before and after sending a video playing control instruction to the first display device is respectively obtained, and based on the comparison between the second resolution and the third resolution, whether the current resolution of the signal processing device is consistent with the first display device is determined, that is, whether the resolution of the signal processing device changes with the change of the resolution of the first display device is determined, which is used as a basis for determining whether the signal processing device is connected to the first display device, and the connection state of the first display device and the signal processing device is determined, and when the conditions of episode switching, resolution switching, video playing and the like meet copyright restrictions, the playing of the first video can be realized based on the connection state of the first display device and the signal processing device.
In addition, the method determines the connection state of the first display device and the signal processing device based on whether the resolution of the signal processing device changes with the change of the resolution of the first display device. The resolution of the first display device may be controlled to change for a plurality of times by the video playing control instruction, and the video playing control instruction is compared with the resolution of the signal processing device after each change, so as to verify whether the resolution of the signal processing device changes dynamically with the change of the resolution of the first display device for a plurality of times, thereby improving the accuracy of determining the connection state.
Optionally, the video playback control instruction includes:
a second screen projection instruction, wherein the second screen projection instruction comprises the second resolution and second video data, and the second screen projection instruction is used for instructing the first display device to play a second video at the second resolution; or the like, or, alternatively,
a resolution switching instruction, where the resolution switching instruction includes the second resolution, and the resolution switching instruction is used to instruct the first display device to switch a resolution of video playback to the second resolution.
It should be understood that the second video data may be an Identifier (ID) of the second video, a request Uniform Resource Locator (URL), or the like, or may be playing data of the second video, and after the first display device receives the second screen-casting instruction, the second video data may be used to identify a video to be screen-cast, and enable the first display device to play the second video.
In this embodiment, the second screen-projecting instruction is configured to instruct the first display device to play the second video at the second resolution, and the resolution switching instruction is configured to instruct the first display device to switch the resolution at which the video is played to the second resolution. That is, when the first display device receives the second screen projecting instruction or the resolution switching instruction, the video can be played according to the second resolution, so that if the signal processing device is in a connection state with the first display device, the determination can be made based on whether the resolution of the signal processing device changes.
Optionally, instructing, in step 105, the display device to play the first video based on the connection status includes:
under the condition that the first display device is connected with the signal processing device, acquiring first copyright information of the first display device and second copyright information of the signal processing device;
and sending a first screen projection instruction to the first display device or the signal processing device based on the first copyright information and the second copyright information, wherein the first screen projection instruction comprises first video data, and the first screen projection instruction is used for indicating the first display device to project a screen to play the first video or indicating the signal processing device to project a screen to play the first video on the first display device.
It should be understood that, for a video without copyright, the first display device cannot be played, and the video without copyright includes situations such as no video playing copyright, no copyright for some episodes in the video, or no copyright for some resolutions in the video, so that when the first display device plays the video, there may be a situation that it is difficult to play smoothly due to no copyright notice, and if the devices such as a television box and a set-top box connected to the first display device have corresponding copyright at this time, the video can be played through the devices such as a television box and a set-top box connected to the first display device.
The acquired first copyright information of the first display device may be all video information of which the first display device has a copyright, or may specifically acquire copyright information related to a video to be screened, for example: when the first display device has copyright to the video a, the video B and the video C, and the video to be projected is the video D, the information of the video a, the video B and the video C may be acquired, or only the information of the video D may be acquired in the embodiment of the present invention. In this way, in the case of sending a screen-casting instruction to the first display device, it may be determined whether the first display device has a copyright of the video D by the acquired information of the video a, the video B, and the video C or the acquired information of the video D. Similarly, the second copyright information of the signal processing device may be all video information of the first display device with copyright, and may also be obtained in a targeted manner from the copyright information related to the video to be projected, and the specific obtaining manner may refer to the obtaining manner of the first display device, which is not described herein again.
It should be understood that the terminal device may send a copyright query request to the first display device to obtain which videos the first display device has, or to obtain whether the first display device has the copyright of the first video. Of course, the terminal device may also send a copyright query request to the signal processing device to obtain the copyright of which video the signal processing device has, or obtain whether the signal processing device has the copyright of the first video.
The first video data may be an ID or a URL of the first video, or may be playing data of the first video, and the first video data may be used to identify a video to be displayed on a screen, and enable the first display device to play the first video.
Under the condition that the first display device is connected with the signal processing device, if at least one of the first copyright information and the second copyright information has the copyright of the first video, the playing of the first video on the first display device can be realized. It should be understood that, when a first screen projection instruction is sent to the first display device or the signal processing device based on the first copyright information and the second copyright information, a device having the first video copyright of the first display device and the signal processing device may be selected to send the first screen projection instruction, and if both the first display device and the signal processing device have the copyright of the first video, a priority may be randomly or preset to select one of the devices to send the first screen projection instruction, for example, to send the screen projection instruction to the first display device preferentially.
In addition, the judgment of whether the first video copyright exists or not may be performed based on various factors such as the copyright of the first video resource, the copyright of a specific episode or all episodes to be played, and the resolution to be played, for example: for a certain video D to be projected, the first display device and the signal processing device both have the copyright of the video D, but the copyright information in the first display device only includes the copyright of the video D at 480P (Progressive) and 720P, and the copyright information in the signal processing device includes the copyright of the video D at 480P, 720P, and 1080P, and in a case where the first display device supports a video playing at 1080P, it may be selected to send a projection instruction to the signal processing device to play the same video at a higher resolution.
In this embodiment, in a case where the first display device is connected to the signal processing device, by acquiring first copyright information of the first display device and second copyright information of the signal processing device; and sending a first screen projection instruction to the first display device or the signal processing device based on the first copyright information and the second copyright information to instruct the first display device to project a screen and play a first video. The first screen projection instruction can be sent to copyrighted equipment to carry out screen projection, and the first video can be played on the first display equipment.
In addition, in the case that the first display device is connected with the signal processing device, the first display device and the signal processing device can be used as the same device, so that prediction can be performed based on historical data of the first display device and the signal processing device in a video recommendation scene, and the effectiveness of video recommendation can be improved.
Optionally, the determining the connection state of the first display device and the signal processing device based on the second resolution and the third resolution in step 104 includes:
confirming that the first display device is connected with the signal processing device if the second resolution is consistent with the third resolution;
confirming that the first display device is not connected with the signal processing device in case that the second resolution is not identical with the third resolution.
It should be understood that, in a case where the second resolution is identical to the third resolution, the resolution read by the signal processing device may be considered to be changed according to a change of a resolution of the video played by the first display device, where the resolution read by the signal processing device is a resolution of the video played by a display device currently connected to the signal processing device, that is, the display device currently connected to the signal processing device is the first display device.
Accordingly, when the second resolution is not consistent with the third resolution, it may be considered that the resolution read by the signal processing device is not consistent with the resolution of the video played by the first display device, that is, the display device currently connected to the signal processing device is not the first display device, and the signal processing device is not connected to the first display device.
It should be understood that if the resolution read by the signal processing device is consistent with the resolution of the current video playing of the first display device, the signal processing device has the possibility of being connected with the first display device. The method comprises the steps of indicating the first display equipment to play a video with a second resolution, wherein the second resolution is different from the first resolution, comparing the second resolution with a third resolution currently read by the signal processing equipment under the condition that the first display equipment plays the video with the second resolution, and if the second resolution is consistent with the third resolution, eliminating the accidental consistency between the resolution of the signal processing equipment and the resolution of the first display equipment, and confirming that the signal processing equipment is connected with the first display equipment.
Optionally, the sending the first screen projection instruction to the first display device or the signal processing device based on the first copyright information and the second copyright information includes:
sending the first screen projection instruction to the first display device under the condition that the first copyright information comprises the copyright of the first video;
and sending the first screen projection instruction to the signal processing device under the condition that the first copyright information does not include the copyright of the first video and the second copyright information includes the copyright of the first video.
It should be understood that the first screen projection instruction is used to instruct the first display device to play the first video, and in a case where the first copyright information includes a copyright of the first video, the first screen projection instruction may be directly projected to the first display device, and in a case where the first copyright information does not include the copyright of the first video and the second copyright information includes the copyright of the first video, the first screen projection instruction may be sent to the signal processing device.
It should be understood that, in the case that the first display device is connected to the signal processing device, if the first display device displays no copyright during playing, the screen may be switched to the signal processing device with copyright by projecting the content to the first display device. That is, in the case that at least one of the first copyright information and the second copyright information includes the copyright of the first video, the playing of the first video on the first display device can be realized.
In this embodiment, in a case that the first copyright information includes a copyright of the first video, sending the first screen projection instruction to the first display device; and sending the first screen projection instruction to the signal processing equipment under the condition that the first copyright information does not comprise the copyright of the first video and the second copyright information comprises the copyright of the first video. The receiving end of the first screen projection instruction can be determined according to the copyright of the first display device and the copyright of the signal processing device, so that the copyright of the first video exists in at least one of the first copyright information and the second copyright information, and the first video can be played on the first display device.
Optionally, before the obtaining the first extended display identification data EDID of the signal processing apparatus in step 101, the method further includes:
receiving a resolution detection instruction input by a user;
and sending the resolution detection instruction to the signal processing equipment, wherein the resolution detection instruction is used for triggering the signal processing equipment to send the first EDID to the first display equipment, and the first EDID is used for acquiring the resolution of the second display equipment currently connected with the signal processing equipment.
It should be understood that, the resolution detection instruction may trigger the signal processing device to send the first EDID to the first display device, and the embodiment may also determine the number of signal processing devices existing in a certain range according to the number of received first EDIDs.
The first EDID obtained in step 101 may be obtained based on a resolution detection instruction input by a user, that is, the first EDID is passively sent by the signal processing device in response to a user request. Optionally, the first EDID may also be actively transmitted by the signal processing device, for example: the signal processing device may transmit the current EDID it reads to the nearby communication device at a certain cycle.
It should be understood that, the second display device is a display device to which the signal processing device is currently connected, and the first resolution of the signal processing device is a resolution at which the second display device currently plays a video. If the second display device and the first display device are the same device, the resolution of the signal processing device and the resolution of the first display device may be kept the same, and if the second resolution and the third resolution in the step are the same, it may be confirmed that the second display device and the first display device are the same device, the signal processing device is connected to the first display device, and if not, the second display device and the first display device are not the same device, and the signal processing device and the first display device are not connected.
In this embodiment, the first EDID obtained in step 101 may be obtained by sending the resolution detection instruction to the signal processing device when receiving a resolution detection instruction input by a user, so as to determine a connection state between the first display device and the signal processing device.
Various optional implementations described in the embodiments of the present invention may be implemented in combination with each other or separately without conflict, and the embodiments of the present invention are not limited to this.
For a better understanding, specific examples are as follows:
as shown in fig. 2, there are televisions B and C in the user's home; a box D and a box E are respectively inserted into the television B; inserting a box F into the television C; the embodiment of the invention also provides a method for judging the same display equipment based on the dynamic change of the screen projection resolution, which comprises the following steps:
before a user casts a screen through the mobile phone a, the user can respectively acquire resolutions in EDIDs of the box D, the box E and the box F, record that current resolutions of the box D and the box E are x1 x y1, and current resolution x2 x y2 of the box F, then cast a screen with resolution m n on the television B, and then respectively acquire current resolutions of the box D, the box E and the box F through the EDIDs, if the resolutions of the box D and the box E at this time are changed from x1 y1 to x3 x y3, if x3 y3 m n and the resolution of the box F is not changed, then the user can confirm that the box D and the box E are connected to the television B, but the box F is not connected.
The televisions B and C each include a screen projection module supporting a standard protocol, for example, a screen projection module supporting DLNA. And the box D, the box E and the box F are also provided with EDID detection modules supporting unified standard protocols.
Specifically, when a user initiates screen projection, a mobile phone A can be used for scanning the screen projection equipment to obtain a screen projection equipment list of a television B, a television C, a box D, a box E and a box F; then, sending a resolution detection command to the box D, the box E and the box F, wherein the box can return the resolution of the box to the mobile phone A through the EDID detection module; then, the mobile phone A sends a screen projection command or a resolution switching command to the television B, namely, the command of the video with the resolution m × n is sent to a screen projection module of the television B, the screen projection module of the television B plays the video with the resolution m × n after receiving the command, and the result is sent to the mobile phone A; mobile phone a sends the resolution detection command to box D, box E, and box F again, and obtains the current resolutions of box D, box E, and box F, respectively, and compares them with resolution m × n, where x1 × y1 is different from m × n, and x2 × y2 is different from m × n. If x3 × y3 ═ m × n, it can be confirmed that box D and box E are connected to television B, that is, the projected videos of television B, box D, and box E are all played on television B. Therefore, when the screen-casting video on the television B meets the problems of switching episodes, switching resolution, limited copyright and the like, the content of the screen-casting video on the television B can be switched to the box D or the box E so as to realize smooth screen-casting and playing of the video.
It should be understood that, for the judgment of the connection between the television C and the box F, the above process can be referred to, and the details are not described herein.
