Claims (10)
- 이더넷(Ethernet) 케이블을 통해 전력 소스 설비 포트(power source equipment port)에 결합된 전력 기기(powered device)의 실재(presence)를 감지하는 전력 기기 감지 구성요소(component);상기 이더넷 케이블의 전기적 특정을 측정하는 케이블 감지 구성요소; 및상기 이더넷 케이블의 중간에 있는 커넥터들의 존재(existence)에 기초하여 상기 전력 소스 설비 포트에의 전력 할당을 제어하는 전력 제어기를 포함하고, 상기 존재는 상기 측정된 전기적 특성들에 의해 지시되는 파워 오버 이더넷(PoE) 시스템.
- 청구항 1에 있어서, 상기 케이블 감지 구성요소는 상기 이더넷 케이블에서의 불연속들을 측정하는 파워 오버 이더넷 시스템.
- 청구항 1에 있어서, 상기 전력 제어기는 케이블 유형, 케이블 길이 및 상기 커넥터들의 존재에 기초하여 상기 전력 할당을 제어하는 파워 오버 이더넷 시스템.
- 청구항 1에 있어서, 상기 전력 제어기는 상기 이더넷 케이블의 유형을 사용하여 결정된 상기 이더넷 케이블의 저항에 기초하여 상기 전력 할당을 제어하는 파워 오버 이더넷 시스템.
- 청구항 1에 있어서, 상기 전력 제어기는 상기 이더넷 케이블의 검증(validation)에 기초하여 전력의 할당을 제어하는 파워 오버 이더넷 시스템.
- 이더넷 케이블을 통해 전력 소스 설비 포트에 전력 기기의 연결시, 측정된 전기적 특성들에 기초하여 상기 이더넷 케이블의 중간에 커넥터들이 존재하는지를 결정하고;상기 전력 소스 설비 포트에 전력 배분(power budget)을 할당하는 것을 포함하고, 상기 할당된 전력 배분은 상기 결정에 기초하는 파워 오버 이더넷(PoE) 방법.
- 청구항 6에 있어서, 상기 결정하는 것은 상기 이더넷 케이블 내의 불연속들을 측정하는 것을 포함하는 파워 오버 이더넷 방법.
- 청구항 6에 있어서, 상기 할당된 전력 배분은 케이블 유형, 케이블 길이 및 상기 이더넷 케이블의 중간에 있는 커넥터들의 존재에 기초하는 파워 오버 이더넷 방법.
- 전력 기기를 전력 소스 설비에 연결하는 이더넷 케이블의 중간에 커넥터들이 존재하는지를 상기 이더넷 케이블의 측정된 전기적 특성들에 기초하여 결정하고;상기 결정에 기초하여 상기 전력 기기에 전력을 공급할지를 결정하는 것을 포함하는 파워 오버 이더넷 방법.
- 청구항 9에 있어서, 상기 전력 공급 결정은 100미터보다 더 긴 이더넷 케이블링에 대한 것인 파워 오버 이더넷 방법.
