Claims (10)
- 이더넷(Ethernet) 케이블을 통해 전력 소스 설비 포트(power source equipment port)에 결합된 전력 기기(powered device)의 실재(presence)를 감지하는 전력 기기 감지 구성요소(component);상기 이더넷 케이블의 전기적 특성을 측정하는 케이블 감지 구성요소; 및상기 이더넷 케이블의 중간에 있는 커넥터들의 존재(existence), 케이블 유형, 및 케이블 길이에 기초하여 상기 전력 소스 설비 포트에의 전력 할당을 제어하는 전력 제어기를 포함하되,상기 케이블 감지 구성요소는 상기 이더넷 케이블에서의 불연속들을 측정하며; 상기 커넥터들의 존재는 상기 측정된 불연속들에 의해 판단되는 것을 특징으로 하는 파워 오버 이더넷 시스템.
