Abstract

A hanger for an exhaust system of a vehicle is provided to extend the life span of a hanger by burying a metal reinforcement plate in a hanger body to prevent the hanger body from being drooped or rotating. A hanger for an exhaust system of a vehicle comprises a hanger body(10) and a metal reinforcement plate(14). The hanger body is formed with hanger support holes(11a,11b). A support wall(12) is positioned between the hanger support holes such that hollow sections(13a,13b) for absorbing vibration are formed in the hanger body, respectively. The metal reinforcement plate formed with a plurality of holes(15) is buried in the support wall. The metal reinforcement plate has bending sections(24a,24b), which extend in an opposite direction, at two sides thereof, so that force applied from the metal reinforcement plate to the hanger body is distributed when the hanger body moves.
