Claims (16)
- 하나 이상의 미디어 스트림이 재생되기 위하여 클라이언트로 스트리밍되는 스트리밍 서비스의 품질 궤환 방법에 있어서,- 품질 메트릭들의 선결된 집합으로부터의 하나 이상의 품질 메트릭에 따라서 품질 궤환값을 결정하는 단계로서, 품질 메트릭의 상기 선결된 집합은 상기 하나 이상의 미디어 스트림의 상기 재생에 관련된 품질 메트릭을 포함하며,상기 하나 이상의 미디어 스트림의 상기 재생에 관련된 상기 품질 메트릭은,상기 하나 이상의 미디어 스트림의 상기 재생의 재생 시간 및 스케줄링된 재생 시간 간의 차이가 소정의 선결값보다 큰 경우에 발생되는 지터 이벤트의 듀레이션에 관련되는 지터-듀레이션 메트릭(jitter-duration metric)인, 결정 단계; 및- 상기 품질 궤환값을 서버로 보고하는 단계를 포함하는 것을 특징으로 하는 방법.
- 제1항에 있어서,상기 품질 메트릭은 타임스탬프와 함께 보고되는 것을 특징으로 하는 방법.
- 제1항에 있어서,상기 지터-듀레이션 메트릭은 타임스탬프와 함께 보고되고,상기 타임스탬프는 품질 보고 기간의 개시 시간에 대한 상기 지터 이벤트 동 안에 첫 번째로 재생되는 프레임의 재생 시간과 동일한 것을 특징으로 하는 방법.
- 제3항에 있어서,상기 재생 시간은 일반 재생 시간(Normal Play Time, NPT)인 것을 특징으로 하는 방법.
- 제1항에 있어서,품질 메트릭들의 상기 선결된 집합은 열화의 듀레이션에 관련된 열화-듀레이션 메트릭을 포함하고,상기 열화-듀레이션 메트릭에 따라서 결정된 상기 품질 궤환값은, 상기 듀레이션이 소정의 선결값보다 큰 경우에만 보고되는 것을 특징으로 하는 방법.
- 제1항에 있어서,상기 하나 이상의 미디어 스트림의 상기 스트리밍은 실시간 전송 프로토콜(Real-time Transport Protocol, RTP)에 기반하는 것을 특징으로 하는 방법.
- 제1항에 있어서, 상기 스트리밍은,실시간 스트리밍 프로토콜(Real-time Streaming Protocol, RTSP)에 의하여 적어도 부분적으로 제어되는 것을 특징으로 하는 방법.
- 제7항에 있어서,상기 품질 궤환값은 상기 RTSP를 통하여 상기 서버로 보고되는 것을 특징으로 하는 방법.
- 제1항에 있어서,상기 스트리밍 서비스는 3세대 이동 통신 시스템 내의 패킷-교환 스트리밍(Packet-switched Streaming Service, PSS)인 것을 특징으로 하는 방법.
- 프로세서로 하여금 제1항의 방법 단계들을 수행하도록 하는 동작 가능한 명령어들을 포함하는 컴퓨터 프로그램을 포함하는 컴퓨터로 읽을 수 있는 기록 매체.
- 스트리밍 서비스 내의 품질 궤환을 위한 시스템에 있어서, 상기 시스템은,- 하나 이상의 서버 및- 하나 이상의 클라이언트를 포함하며,하나 이상의 미디어 스트림이 재생을 위하여 상기 하나 이상의 클라이언트로 스트리밍되고,품질 메트릭들의 선결된 집합으로부터의 하나 이상의 품질 메트릭에 따라서 품질 궤환값이 결정되며,품질 메트릭의 상기 선결된 집합은 상기 하나 이상의 미디어 스트림의 상기 재생에 관련된 품질 메트릭을 포함하고,상기 하나 이상의 미디어 스트림의 상기 재생에 관련된 상기 품질 메트릭은,상기 하나 이상의 미디어 스트림의 상기 재생의 재생 시간 및 스케줄링된 재생 시간 간의 차이가 소정의 선결값보다 큰 경우에 발생되는 지터 이벤트의 듀레이션에 관련되는 지터-듀레이션 메트릭(jitter-duration metric)이며,상기 품질 궤환값은 상기 하나 이상의 서버로 보고되는 것을 특징으로 하는 시스템.
- 스트리밍 서비스용 클라이언트에 있어서, 상기 클라이언트는,- 재생을 위하여 상기 클라이언트로 스트리밍된 하나 이상의 미디어 스트림을 수신하기 위한 수단,- 품질 메트릭들의 선결된 집합으로부터의 하나 이상의 품질 메트릭에 따라서 품질 궤환값을 결정하기 위한 수단으로서, 품질 메트릭의 상기 선결된 집합은 상기 하나 이상의 미디어 스트림의 상기 재생에 관련된 품질 메트릭을 포함하고,상기 하나 이상의 미디어 스트림의 상기 재생에 관련된 상기 품질 메트릭은,상기 하나 이상의 미디어 스트림의 상기 재생의 재생 시간 및 스케줄링된 재생 시간 간의 차이가 소정의 선결값보다 큰 경우에 발생되는 지터 이벤트의 듀레이션에 관련되는 지터-듀레이션 메트릭(jitter-duration metric)인, 수단, 및- 상기 품질 궤환값을 서버로 보고하기 위한 수단을 포함하는 것을 특징으로 하는 클라이언트.
- 재생을 위하여 하나 이상의 미디어 스트림이 클라이언트로 스트리밍되는 스트리밍 서비스용 서버에 있어서,품질 메트릭들의 선결된 집합으로부터의 하나 이상의 품질 메트릭에 따라서 품질 궤환값이 결정되며,품질 메트릭의 상기 선결된 집합은 상기 하나 이상의 미디어 스트림의 상기 재생에 관련된 품질 메트릭을 포함하고,상기 하나 이상의 미디어 스트림의 상기 재생에 관련된 상기 품질 메트릭은,상기 하나 이상의 미디어 스트림의 상기 재생의 재생 시간 및 스케줄링된 재생 시간 간의 차이가 소정의 선결값보다 큰 경우에 발생되는 지터 이벤트의 듀레이션에 관련되는 지터-듀레이션 메트릭(jitter-duration metric)이며, 상기 서버는,- 상기 클라이언트에 의해 상기 서버로 보고된 상기 품질 궤환값을 수신하기 위한 수단을 포함하는 것을 특징으로 하는 서버.
- 제11항에 있어서,상기 스트리밍 서비스는 3세대 이동 통신 시스템 내의 패킷-교환 스트리밍(Packet-switched Streaming Service, PSS)인 것을 특징으로 하는 시스템.
- 제12항에 있어서,상기 스트리밍 서비스는 3세대 이동 통신 시스템 내의 패킷-교환 스트리밍(Packet-switched Streaming Service, PSS)인 것을 특징으로 하는 클라이언트.
- 제13항에 있어서,상기 스트리밍 서비스는 3세대 이동 통신 시스템 내의 패킷-교환 스트리밍(Packet-switched Streaming Service, PSS)인 것을 특징으로 하는 서버.
