Claims (9)
- 환상 폴리올레핀 수지를 함유하는 열가소성 고분자로 이루어지고, 면내의 굴절률이 최대가 되는 방향을 X 축, X 축에 수직인 방향을 Y 축, 두께 방향을 Z 축으로 하고, 각각의 축 방향의 굴절률을 nx, ny, nz 로 한 경우에, 1 축 배향한 양의 굴절률 이방성 (nx>ny≒nz) 을 갖는 위상차 필름 A 와,호메오트로픽 배향에 고정되고 있고, 면내의 굴절률이 최대가 되는 방향을 X 축, X 축에 수직인 방향을 Y 축, 두께 방향을 Z 축으로 하고, 각각의 축 방향의 굴절률을 nx1, ny1, nz1 로 한 경우에, 양의 굴절률 이방성 (nz1>nx1≒ny1) 을 갖는 위상차 필름 B 가 적층하여 이루어지는 광학 필름이,편광자의 편측에 위상차 필름 A 의 지상축과 편광자의 흡수축이 직교하도록 적층되어 있는 것을 특징으로 하는 타원 편광판.
- 제 1 항에 있어서,편광자부터, 위상차 필름 A, 위상차 필름 B 의 순서가 되도록 광학 필름이 적층되어 있는 것을 특징으로 하는 타원 편광판.
- 제 1 항에 있어서,상기 위상차 필름 A 가, 노르보르넨계 수지를 함유하는 필름인 것을 특징으 로 하는 타원 편광판.
- 제 1 항에 있어서,위상차 필름 B 는 두께 방향의 위상차: {((nx1+ny1)/2)-nz1}×d (두께: ㎚) 가, -500㎚∼-10㎚ 인 것을 특징으로 하는 타원 편광판.
- 제 1 항에 있어서,위상차 필름 B 가 측쇄형 액정 폴리머를 함유하는 필름인 것을 특징으로 하는 타원 편광판.
- 제 1 항에 있어서,위상차 필름 A 가, λ/4 판인 것을 특징으로 하는 타원 편광판.
- 제 1 항 내지 제 6 항 중 어느 한 항에 기재된 타원 편광판이 적층되어 있는 것을 특징으로 하는 화상 표시 장치.
- 제 1 항 내지 제 6 항 중 어느 한 항에 기재된 타원 편광판이 적층되어 있는 것을 특징으로 하는 액정 표시 장치.
- 제 8 항에 있어서,구동 모드가 횡전계 방식 (IPS 모드) 인 것을 특징으로 하는 액정 표시 장치.
