Claims (9)
- 제 1 전극판, 제 2 전극판, 상기 제 1 전극판과 제 2 전극판 사이에 위치하는 세퍼레이터를 구비하는 전극 조립체와;상기 전극 조립체를 수용하기 위한 내부 공간을 구비하는 이차 전지용 외장재와;상기 이차 전지용 외장재의 내부 표면의 적어도 일부분 상에 형성된 발화 억제 수단을 구비하는 것을 특징으로 하는 리튬 이차 전지.
- 제 1항에 있어서,상기 발화 억제 수단은상기 이차 전지용 외장재의 내부 표면의 적어도 일부분 상에 형성되며, 발화 억제 물질로 이루어지는 발화 억제 물질층과;상기 발화 억제 물질층을 전해액과 격리시키는 격리 피막을 구비하는 것을 특징으로 하는 리튬 이차 전지.
- 제 2항에 있어서,상기 발화 억제 물질층은 80℃ 이상의 일정 온도부터 전지 내부로 투입ㆍ확산되어 온도 상승을 억제하는 물질로 이루어지는 것을 특징으로 하는 리튬 이차 전지.
- 제 3항에 있어서,상기 발화 억제 물질층은 NaCl로 이루어지는 것을 특징으로 하는 리튬 이차 전지.
- 제 2항에 있어서,상기 격리 피막은 열가소성 물질로 이루어지는 것을 특징으로 하는 리튬 이차 전지.
- 제 5항에 있어서,상기 격리 피막은 파라핀 계열 물질로 이루어지는 것을 특징으로 하는 리튬 이차 전지.
- 제 2항에 있어서,상기 격리 피막은 80℃ 이상의 일정 온도부터 적어도 일부가 융해되어 상기 발화 억제 물질이 전지 내부로 투입될 수 있도록 하는 것을 특징으로 하는 리튬 이차 전지.
- 제 1항에 있어서,상기 이차 전지용 외장재는 상부가 개구된 원통형의 금속재 케이스, 상부가 개구된 박스형 금속재 캔 및 파우치 외장재 중 선택되는 어느 하나인 것을 특징으로 하는 리튬 이차 전지.
- 제 8항에 있어서,상기 이차 전지용 외장재가 원통형의 금속재 케이스 및 상부가 개구된 박스형의 금속재 캔 중 어느 하나인 경우, 상기 이차 전지용 외장재의 상부와 결합되어 이를 밀봉하는 캡 조립체를 더 구비하는 것을 특징으로 하는 리튬 이차 전지.
