An apparatus and a method for performing a virtual call in a wired/wireless communication terminal are provided to allow a user to perform virtual call communication as if he/she received an emergency call in order to leave earlier from an undesirable meeting or gathering. A memory(110) stores virtual call reservation contents. An audio unit(112) outputs a virtual call bell/melody and a virtual call voice message through a speaker(114).
