Description
Claims (11)
- 전극 탭이 형성된 두 전극과 상기 두 전극 사이에 개재되어 상기 두 전극 사이의 단락을 방지하는 세퍼레이터를 가지는 전극 조립체,상기 전극 조립체를 수용하는 용기형 캔,상기 캔의 개구부에서 가스켓을 개재하여 상기 캔을 마감하는 캡 어셈블리를 구비하는 이차 전지에 있어서,상기 전극 탭 가운데 하나가 상기 캔 내면과 이격된 복수 개의 포인트에서 용접되는 것을 특징으로 하는 이차 전지.
- 제 1 항에 있어서,상기 전극 탭 가운데 하나는 상기 캔 저면과 나란하도록 절곡된 말단부를 가지며, 상기 말단부의 이격된 복수 개의 포인트에서 상기 캔 저면과 용접되는 것을 특징으로 하는 이차 전지.
- 제 2 항에 있어서,상기 캔 저면과 용접되는 전극 탭에서 상기 캔의 측면과 상기 전극 조립체의 측면과의 사이에 있는 부분의 길이는 상기 캔의 측벽의 길이보다 크게 이루어지며, 상기 캔 측벽의 길이의 두 배보다는 작게 이루어지는 것을 특징으로 하는 이차 전지.
- 제 1 항에 있어서,상기 캔과 용접되는 전극 탭은 상기 캔 내에서 적어도 2번 절곡되는 것을 특징으로 하는 이차 전지.
- 제 4 항에 있어서,상기 캔과 용접되는 상기 전극 탭은 상기 전극 조립체 하단에서 아래쪽으로 인출되어 상부로 절곡되고, 상기 캔 상부에서 하부로 절곡된 뒤, 상기 전극 조립체 하단에서 다시 절곡되어 상기 캔 저면과 적어도 2개의 포인트에서 용접되는 것을 특징으로 하는 이차 전지.
- 제 4 항에 있어서,상기 캔과 용접되는 상기 전극 탭은 상기 전극 조립체 하단에서 아래쪽으로 인출되어 상부로 절곡되고, 상기 캔 상부에서 하부로 절곡된 뒤, 상기 캔의 내부 측벽과 적어도 2개의 포인트에서 용접되는 것을 특징으로 하는 이차 전지.
- 제 1 항에 있어서,상기 캔은 원통형으로 이루어지는 것을 특징으로 하는 이차 전지.
- 제 1 항에 있어서,상기 캔에 용접되는 전극 탭은 상기 캔의 측벽 내면과 용접되는 것을 특징으로 하는 이차 전지.
- 전극 탭이 형성된 두 전극과 상기 두 전극 사이에 개재되어 상기 두 전극 사이의 단락을 방지하는 세퍼레이터를 가지는 전극 조립체,상기 전극 조립체를 수용하는 용기형 캔,상기 캔의 개구부에서 가스켓을 개재하여 상기 캔을 마감하는 캡 어셈블리를 구비하는 이차 전지의 형성 방법에 있어서,상기 캔에 상기 전극 탭 가운데 하나를 인입시키고, 상기 전극 조립체 본체는 상기 캔 외부에 위치시킨 상태에서, 인입된 상기 전극 탭을 캔 내측에 2 포인트 이상 용접시키는 단계,용접된 상기 전극 탭을 절곡시켜 상기 전극 탭 전부를 포함하는 상기 전극 조립체 전체를 상기 캔에 인입시키는 단계를 구비하여 이루어지는 것을 특징으로 하는 이차 전지의 형성 방법.
- 제 9 항에 있어서,상기 용접시키는 단계와 상기 전극 조립체 전체를 인입시키는 단계 사이에는 하절연판을 설치하는 단계가 더 포함되는 것을 특징으로 하는 이차 전지의 형성 방법.
- 제 9 항에 있어서,상기 용접은 저항 용접인 것을 특징으로 하는 이차 전지의 형성 방법.
