Claims (13)
- 음성 데이터가 제1 성분으로부터 제2 성분으로 전송되는 음성 통신 시스템에 있어서, 상기 제2 성분으로 프로토콜 메시지를 전송하기 위한 방법으로서,음성 데이터 프레임 대신 확장 프레임을 전송하는 단계를 포함하고, 상기 확장 프레임은 음성 데이터 프레임들과 상기 확장 프레임을 구별하기 위한 총 비트 패턴을 포함하며 프로토콜 메시지를 전달하는 방법.
- 제1항에 있어서, 상기 확장 프레임은 상기 제2 성분에 특정 프로토콜 메시지를 지시하는 데이터 필드를 더 포함하는 방법.
- 음성 데이터가 제1 성분으로부터 제2 성분으로 전송되는 음성 통신 시스템에 있어서, 구성 변화를 실행하는 방법으로서,음성 데이터 프레임 대신 확장 프레임을 전송하는 단계를 포함하고, 상기 확장 프레임은 음성 데이터 프레임들과 상기 확장 프레임을 구별하기 위한 총 비트 패턴을 포함하며 구성 변화 지시(configuration change indication)를 전달하는 방법.
- 제3항에 있어서, 상기 확장 프레임은 상기 제2 성분에 만들어질 특정 구성 변화를 지시하는 데이터 필드를 더 포함하는 방법.

- 제7항에 있어서, 상기 통신 시스템은 적응형 멀티레이트(AMR) 시스템이고, 상기 SID 프레임들은 사일런스 디스크립션 정보에 추가하여 코덱 모드 정보를 포함하는 방법.
- 통신 시스템으로서,소스 데이터를 전송하는 제1 성분; 및상기 소스 데이터를 수신하는 제2 성분을 포함하며,상기 제1 성분은 구성 변화를 제2 성분에 지시하기 위해 소스 데이터 프레임 대신 확장 프레임을 전송하고,상기 확장 프레임은 상기 소스 데이터 프레임들과 상기 확장 프레임을 구별하는 총 비트 패턴을 포함하는 시스템.
- 제12항에 있어서, 상기 확장 프레임은 실행될 특정 구성 변화를 상기 제2 성분에 지시하기 위하여 데이터 필드를 더 포함하는 시스템.
