Claims (18)
- 이동 단말기로부터 기지국으로 메시지(N)를 전송하기 위한 전송 채널을 선택하는 방법으로서,단말기가 먼저 특정 전송 채널에 대해 기지국으로 전송 승인 요청 신호(AP)를 전송하고,상기 기지국은 제 1 결정값(ACK, NACK)을 포함하는 응답 신호(AWS)를 상기 단말기에 전송하며, 상기 응답 신호는 상기 단말기가 상기 요청된 전송 채널을 통해 메시지(N)를 전송할 권한이 있는지의 여부를 나타내는, 전송 채널 선택 방법에 있어서,상기 단말기가 또 다른 전송 채널을 통해 메시지(N)를 전송할 권한이 있는 경우, 상기 기지국은 상기 단말기가 상기 요청된 채널을 통해 메시지(N)를 전송하는 것을 금지하는 음의 제 1 결정값(NACK)의 전송시 상기 응답 신호(AWS)와 함께 양의 제 2 결정값(ACK2)을 상기 단말기에 전송하며,상기 단말기는 음의 제 1 결정값(NACK)의 검출시 응답 신호(AWS)에 상기 단말기에 다른 전송 채널을 통해 메시지를 전송할 권한이 있음을 나타내는 양의 제 2 결정값(ACK2)이 포함되어 있는지, 그리고 다른 어느 전송 채널이 이용 가능한지에 대해 더 분석하며,이어서 상기 단말기는 이용 가능한 전송 채널들 중 하나를 통해 상기 기지국에 상기 메시지(N)를 전송하는 것을 특징으로 하는,전송 채널 선택 방법.
- 제 1항에 있어서,상기 선택되는 전송 채널은, 기지국으로의 메시지(N) 전송을 위해 다수의 단말기에 의해 공통으로 사용되는 하나의 물리 전송 채널(PRACH)에서 상이한 채널화 코드들(CS)을 사용함으로써 구현되는 다수의 논리 전송 채널들 중 하나인 것을 특징으로 하는,전송 채널 선택 방법.
- 제 1항 또는 제 2항에 있어서,상기 응답 신호(AWS)는 다른 어느 전송 채널이 메시지 전송에 이용될 수 있는지를 나타내는 신호가 관련 단말기에 전송되도록 하는 채널 상태 정보들(KI)을 포함하는 것을 특징으로 하는,전송 채널 선택 방법.
- 제 1항 내지 제 3항 중 어느 한 항에 있어서,상기 응답 신호(AWS) 내에 포함된 제 2 결정값(ACK2, NACK2) 및/또는 상기 채널 상태 정보(KI)는, 특정 응답 신호(AWS)가 제 2 결정값(ACK2, NACK2)을 포함하는지의 여부와 상관없이 상기 제 1 결정값(ACK, NACK)이 변경되지 않은 채로 단말 기에 의해 응답 신호(AWS)에서 디코딩될 수 있는 방식으로 코딩되는 것을 특징으로 하는,전송 채널 선택 방법.
- 제 4항에 있어서,응답 신호(AWS) 내 양의 제 2 결정값(ACK2) 및/또는 채널 상태 정보(KI)가 하나 이상의 서명 문자열(b21,.., b215)을 이용하여 코딩되고, 상기 서명 문자열은 상기 응답 신호(AWS) 내 제 1 결정값(ACK, NACK)의 코딩을 위해 사용되는 제 1 세트의 서명 문자열(b1,.., b15)에 직교하는 것을 특징으로 하는,전송 채널 선택 방법.
- 제 5항에 있어서,상기 양의 제 2 결정값(ACK2) 및/또는 상기 채널 상태 정보들(KI)의 코딩을 위한 상기 서명 문자열(b21,.., b215)은 상기 제 1 서명 문자열 세트(b)의 서명 문자열(b0,.., b15)의 매 두 번째 문자가 "-1"과 곱해짐으로써 생성되는 것을 특징으로 하는,전송 채널 선택 방법.

- 이동 단말기로부터 기지국으로 메시지(N)를 전송하기 위한 전송 채널을 선택하는 수단을 구비한 프로세서 장치 및 송수신 유닛을 가진 기지국으로서,단말기로부터 전송된 특정 전송 채널에 대한 전송 승인 요청 신호(AP)를 검출하기 위한 디코딩 장치,현재 메시지(N) 전송을 위해 이용 가능한 전송 채널을 결정하기 위한 채널 릴리스(channel release) 장치, 및상기 단말기에 상기 요청된 전송 채널을 통해 메시지(N)를 전송할 권한이 있는지의 여부를 나타내는 제 1 결정값(ACK, NACK)을 포함하는 응답 신호(AWS)를 상기 단말기에 송출하기 위한 코딩 장치를 포함하는 기지국에 있어서,상기 프로세서 장치는, 상기 단말기가 상기 요청된 채널을 통해 메시지(N)를 전송하는 것을 금지하는 음의 제 1 결정값(NACK)의 전송시, 상기 단말기에 또 다른 채널을 통해 메시지(N)를 전송할 수 있는 권한이 주어지는 경우에 상기 응답 신호(AWS)와 함께 양의 제 2 결정값(ACK2)이 상기 단말기로 전송되도록 설계되는 것을 특징으로 하는,기지국.
- 제 16항에 따른 다수의 기지국을 포함하는 이동 무선망.
- 이동 단말기로부터 기지국으로 메시지(N)를 전송하기 위한 전송 채널을 선택하는 수단을 구비한 프로세서 장치 및 송수신 유닛을 가진 이동 무선 기기로서,특정 전송 채널에 대한 전송 승인 요청 신호(AP)를 발생시키기 위한 승인 요청 장치, 및상기 단말기에 상기 요청된 전송 채널을 통해 메시지(N)를 전송할 권한이 있는지의 여부를 나타내는 제 1 결정값(ACK, NACK)을 검출하기 위해, 상기 기지국으로부터 전송된 응답 신호(AWS)를 디코딩하는 디코딩 장치를 포함하는 이동 무선 기기에 있어서,상기 디코딩 장치는, 응답 신호(AWS)에서 음의 제 1 결정값(NACK)이 검출되면 상기 응답 신호(AWS)에 상기 단말기에 다른 전송 채널을 통해 메시지를 전송할 권한이 있음을 나타내는 양의 제 2 결정값(ACK2)이 포함되어 있는지, 그리고 다른 어느 전송 채널이 이용 가능한지에 대해 상기 응답 신호(AWS)를 더 분석하도록 설계되며,상기 프로세서 장치는, 전술한 경우에 이용 가능한 전송 채널을 통해 상기 기지국으로 메시지(N)가 전송되도록 설계되는 것을 특징으로 하는,이동 무선 기기.
