BACKGROUND OF THE INVENTION 1. Field of the Invention The present invention relates to a head-up display of a vehicle. In particular, the present invention provides a shortest driving route to a vehicle's destination and an estimated time of arrival when the vehicle is driven, and informs a situation about a traffic accident on the driving route to arrive at the destination quickly. The present invention relates to a vehicle driving information notification device and method using a head-up display.
Nowadays, more and more people are driving their own cars to get to their destinations due to the increasing number of vehicles, and because of the complicated road conditions and the increasing number of vehicles, many vehicles coming from behind do not move quickly and accurately to their destinations. It hindered progress.
If the driver is embarrassed because the driver does not know the route to the destination in the case of a first-time or crowded city, the operation of the vehicle is further delayed and it is difficult to find the destination.
In particular, if you can't quickly decide whether you want to turn left, turn right, or make a U-turn at an intersection, you'll miss the opportunity to change lanes and have to change directions sharply, or you'll just have to go past and use a distant road to get back.
Therefore, the data of each map is subdivided and input using CD-ROM (Compact Disk Read Only Memory) for vehicle navigation system, and then GPS (Global Positioning System) using a satellite, gyro sensor, geomagnetic sensor, vehicle speed sensor, etc. By matching the current vehicle location with the map data, it is easy to search the road or select the route.
In this case, when the road information is provided through a separate monitor, the driver needs to watch the monitor in order to observe the provided information, thereby reducing the concentration of driving.
In order to solve this problem, a head up display (HUD) technology for projecting road information onto a front windshield of a vehicle so that a driver may look at the front of the vehicle and obtain road information is disclosed.
In the case of the above technology, although the optimal route from the current position of the vehicle to the target position and the current vehicle information can be displayed, it cannot be notified when a traffic accident occurs on the optimal route, and the vehicle is delayed even when entering the optimal route. There was a problem.
In addition, there is a problem that the arrival time to the vehicle destination is unknown.
The present invention has been made to solve the above problems, by using the head-up display device of the vehicle tells the driving time when using the optimal route and the optimal route to the destination when driving the vehicle and when the accident occurs on the optimal route to the driver An object of the present invention is to provide an apparatus and method for notifying vehicle driving information using a head-up display.

The displaying of the driving route (ST500) may include displaying an estimated driving time (ST510), displaying the shortest driving route selected by the
When explaining the embodiment of the present invention configured as described above with reference to the drawings as follows.
(ST100, ST200). When the engine is started to drive the vehicle, a generator (not shown) is operated by the operation of the engine, and at the same time, the
Various sensors installed in the vehicle measure the operation state of each component of the vehicle and output a signal indicating the measured state, and the output signal is input to the
(ST300). The
That is, when the driver is notified of the state such as the driving speed, the engine speed, the fuel amount, and the coolant temperature of the vehicle through the head-up
In addition, at the same time as the engine operates, the
The driver inputs his / her destination (ST410), and when the destination is input, the
The
In this case, when there are a plurality of routes having similar distances to the destination, it is desirable to display all of them so that the driver can select them.
When driving of the vehicle starts, the estimated driving time when the vehicle travels the route selected by the
When driving of the vehicle starts, the driving route selected by the
If a traffic accident occurs on the selected driving route while driving toward the destination by using the information displayed by the head-up
(ST600). When the vehicle deviates from the driving path due to the driver's carelessness while driving through the selected driving path, the
As described above, according to the present invention, after selecting the driving route of the vehicle, the head-up display of the vehicle informs the driving route and the estimated time, and if a traffic accident occurs on the driving route, the driver is notified and the new route is informed. It has the effect of being able to arrive at the destination quickly.
