Claims (14)
- 비디오 데이터; 및 메뉴 화면을 제공하기 위한 그래픽 데이터를 기록한 저장 매체를 재생하는 재생 방법에 있어서,상기 그래픽 데이터를 디코딩하는 단계; 및상기 디코딩된 그래픽 데이터의 종류에 기초하여, 상기 그래픽 데이터가 제1 그래픽 데이터인 경우 사용자로부터 활성화 요구가 있으면 디코딩된 상기 그래픽 데이터를 출력하고, 상기 그래픽 데이터가 제2 그래픽 데이터인 경우 상기 그래픽 데이터에 포함된 지정된 출력 시간이 되면 디코딩된 상기 그래픽 데이터를 출력하는 단계를 포함하는 것을 특징으로 하는 재생 방법.
- 제1항에 있어서,상기 제1 및 제2 그래픽 데이터는 서로 동일 또는 유사한 구조체(structure)를 사용하여 구현되며, 상기 구조체는 양자를 구분하기 위한 필드를 포함하는 것을 특징으로 하는 재생 방법.
- 제2항에 있어서,상기 제1 및 제2 그래픽 데이터는 인터랙티브 그래픽 세그먼트 구조체(interactive_graphic_segment structure)를 사용하여 구현되며, 상기 인터랙티브 그래픽 세그먼트 구조체에는 양자를 구분하기 위한 타입 필드가 추가되는 것을 특징으로 하는 재생 방법.
- 저장 매체로부터 인터랙티브 그래픽 스트림을 재생하는 방법에 있어서,상기 저장 매체로부터 인터랙티브 그래픽 스트림을 독출하는 단계;상기 독출된 인터랙티브 그래픽 스트림을 디코딩하는 단계;상기 독출된 인터랙티브 그래픽 스트림의 종류를 확인하는 단계; 및상기 디코딩된 인터랙티브 그래픽 스트림과 비디오 데이터를 블랜딩하고, 상기 디코딩된 인터랙티브 그래픽 스트림이 일반 인터랙티브 그래픽 스트림인 경우는 지정된 시간에 상기 불랜딩된 데이터를 출력하고, 상기 디코딩된 인터랙티브 그래픽 스트림이 온 디맨드 인터랙티브 그래픽 스트림인 경우는 활성화 명령이 수신될 때 상기 블랜딩된 데이터를 출력하는 단계를 포함하는 것을 특징으로 하는 재생 방법.
- 제4항에 있어서,상기 디코딩된 인터랙티브 그래픽 스트림이 온 디맨드 인터랙티브 그래픽 스트림인 경우, 상기 블랜딩하는 단계는,재생 장치의 상태 레지스터에서 상기 온 디맨드 인터랙티브 그래픽 스트림을 화면에 출력할지 여부를 나타내는 disp_flag 플래그를 독출하는 단계;상기 disp_flag 플래그가 소정의 값이면, 상기 온 디맨드 인터랙티브 그래픽 스트림의 활성화 준비가 완료되었음을 알려주는 최초 메뉴 페이지를 화면에 출력하 는 단계;상기 최초 메뉴 페이지가 출력되어 있는 동안 활성화 명령이 수신되면, 상기 명령에 해당하는 메뉴 페이지를 출력하는 단계; 및상기 disp_flag 플래그가 상기 소정의 값이 아니면, 활성화 명령이 수신되어도 무시하는 단계를 포함하는 것을 특징으로 하는 재생 방법.
- 제5항에 있어서,사용자 인터페이스를 통해 활성화 명령이 입력되면, 상기 최초 메뉴 페이지를 출력하는 것을 특징으로 하는 재생 방법.
- 제4항에 있어서,상기 확인하는 단계는, ICS(Interactive Composition Segment)의 segment_type 필드를 분석하는 단계를 포함하는 것을 특징으로 하는 재생 방법.
- 제7항에 있어서,상기 segment_type 필드는 세그먼트의 종류를 나타내며, segment_descriptor 필드에 위치해 있는 것을 특징으로 하는 재생 방법.
- 제4항에 있어서,상기 일반 인터랙티브 그래픽 스트림 및 상기 온 디맨드 인터랙티브 그래픽 스트림은 동일 또는 유사한 구조인 것을 특징으로 하는 재생 방법.
- 제4항에 있어서,상기 확인하는 단계는, ICS(Interactive Composition Segment)의 ICS_type 필드를 분석하는 단계를 포함하는 것을 특징으로 하는 재생 방법.
- 제10항에 있어서,상기 ICS_type 필드는, ICS_type 값이 소정의 값이면 일반 인터랙티브 그래픽 스트림을 나타내고, ICS_type 값이 상기 소정의 값이 아니면 온 디맨드 인터랙티브 스트림을 나타내는 것으로 정의되는 것을 특징으로 하는 재생 방법.
- 제4항에 있어서,상기 확인하는 단계는, 상기 인터랙티브 그래픽 스트림의 구조를 분석하는 단계를 포함하는 것을 특징으로 하는 재생 방법.
- 제12항에 있어서,상기 일반 인터랙티브 그래픽 스트림 및 상기 온 디맨드 인터랙티브 스트림의 구조는 상이한 것을 특징으로 하는 재생 방법.
- 제13항에 있어서,상기 온 디맨드 인터랙티브 그래픽 스트림의 구조는, 온 디맨드 그래픽 스트림이 디코딩되어 활성화될 준비가 되었음을 나타내는 최초 버튼을 포함하는 최초 메뉴 페이지와, 상기 온 디맨드 인터랙티브 스트림이 활성화된 후 출력될 버튼을 포함하는 적어도 하나의 메뉴 페이지에 대한 정보를 포함하는 것을 특징으로 하는 재생 방법.
