Claims (11)
- 재생(playback) 디바이스에 있어서,암호화된 콘텐츠를 보유하도록 구성된 적어도 하나의 콘텐츠 스토어(22) - 상기 콘텐츠는 콘텐츠 데이터 패킷들의 전송 스트림(transport stream)을 포함하고, 적어도 하나의 패킷은 적어도 하나의 키를 포함함 -; 및키 테이블내에 키를 배열하고,상기 테이블내의 키를 상기 전송 스트림내의 키 변경(key change)과 링크시켜, 상기 콘텐츠의 후속적인 해독(decryption) 및 재생을 용이하게 하기 위한 로직으로 프로그램되고, 상기 스토어에 액세싱하는 적어도 하나의 프로세서(18)를 포함하는 디바이스.
- 제1항에 있어서,상기 전송 스트림내의 헤더는 적어도 하나의 암호화 표시 비트를 포함하고,상기 프로세서(18)는,상기 전송 스트림내의 암호화 표시 비트내의 변경을 표시하는 적어도 하나의 인덱스 테이블 - 상기 인덱스 테이블내의 엔트리는 상기 테이블내의 키와 연관됨 - 을 설립하고,상기 패킷과 연관된 적어도 하나의 키를 식별하기 위해 상기 인덱스 테이블에 액세싱하고, 상기 콘텐츠를 해독하기 위해 상기 적어도 하나의 키를 이용하여 상기 패킷을 해독하고 적어도 부분적으로 상기 패킷을 플레이하는 디바이스.
- 제1항에 있어서,상기 프로세서(18)는 상기 콘텐츠를 출력 디바이스(24)상에 표시하는 디바이스.
- 제1항에 있어서,상기 키는 패킷내에 포함되는 디바이스.
- 제1항에 있어서,상기 키는 상기 전송 스트림내의 패킷내에 포함되고,상기 프로세서(18)는 패킷으로부터 상기 키를 스트립(strip)하는 디바이스.
- 제1항에 있어서,상기 키는 암호화되고, 상기 프로세서(18)는, 상기 테이블에 액세싱한 후 및 상기 콘텐츠를 해독하기 위해 상기 키를 이용하기 전에 상기 키를 해독하는 디바이스.
- 제1항에 있어서,상기 전송 스트림은 패킷으로 구성되고,상기 각 패킷은 그 길이가 188 바이트(bytes)인 디바이스.

- 제8항에 있어서,제1 비디오 패킷으로부터 제2 비디오 패킷으로 점프하는 사용자 개시(user-initiated) 트릭 모드를 수신하기 위한 수단; 및상기 제1 패킷와 연관된 상기 암호화 표시 비트가 상기 제2 패킷과 연관된 상기 암호화 표시 비트와 동일한 키 극성(polarity)을 표시하면, 상기 제2 패킷 이후의 적어도 몇몇의 암호화 표시 비트의 극성을 변경시키기 위한 수단을 포함하는 디바이스.
- 암호화된 콘텐츠의 트릭(trick) 재생을 시청자에게 제공하기 위한 시스템(10)에 있어서,적어도 하나의 암호화된 전송 스트림을 전송하는 적어도 하나의 콘텐츠 제공자(12); 및상기 전송 스트림을 수신하고, 그것으로부터 암호화 키를 스트리핑(stripping)하고, 상기 키를 상기 전송 스트림의 대응하는 패킷에 링크하여, 후속하는 해독 및 트릭 모드 재생이 용이해지도록 하는 적어도 하나의 시청자 디바이스(16)를 포함하는 시스템.
