Description
Claims (6)
- 게이트구동부에 게이트 구동 펄스를 인가하는 단계;상기 게이트구동부가 게이트 구동 펄스를 인가받아 주사신호의 출력을 시작하며, 적어도 하나의 제 1 채널과 적어도 하나의 제 2 채널로 구성된 출력 채널에 순차적으로 주사신호를 인가하는 단계;상기 게이트구동부의 두번째 제 1 채널을 통해 게이트라인에 주사신호가 인가되는 시점과 동기하여 데이터구동부가 화상정보의 출력을 시작하는 단계;상기 게이트구동부는 각 제 1 채널을 통해 각 게이트라인에 순차적으로 주사신호를 인가하는 단계; 및상기 게이트구동부는 블랭크 시간동안 매 수평주기마다 하나 또는 두개의 제 2 채널에 주사신호를 인가하는 단계를 포함하여 이루어지며, 상기 각 단계들을 반복구동하는 것을 특징으로 하는 액정표시장치의 구동방법.
- 제 1 항에 있어서, 상기 제 1 채널은 게이트라인과 전기적으로 접속되어 주사신호를 인가하는 활성채널이고, 상기 제 2 채널은 게이트라인과 전기적으로 미접속된 더미채널인 것을 특징으로 하는 액정표시장치의 구동방법.
- 제 1 항에 있어서, 상기 게이트구동부의 전단 및 후단에는 각각 실질적으로 동일한 수의 제 2 채널이 형성된 것을 특징으로 하는 액정표시장치의 구동방법.
- 제 1 항에 있어서, 상기 게이트구동부는 블랭크 시간 내에 모든 제 2 채널에 주사신호를 인가하는 것을 특징으로 하는 액정표시장치의 구동방법.
- 제 1 항에 있어서, 상기 게이트구동부는 전단의 제 2 채널과 후단의 제 2 채널에 동시에 주사신호를 인가하는 것을 특징으로 하는 액정표시장치의 구동방법.
- 제 1 항에 있어서, 상기 게이트구동부는 제 1 채널에 개별적으로 주사신호를 인가하는 것을 특징으로 하는 액정표시장치의 구동방법.
