Abstract

PURPOSE: A pattern wood board, having uneven patterns on its own surface is provided to offer the effect that the uneven patterns have such a naturally aged annual ring as it is generated through a long-term weathering. CONSTITUTION: The pattern wood board is manufactured in such a manner that the surface of a wood plate or plywood, out of each kind of a wood, is machined by a metal brush which is rotated right and left horizontally and then is naturally ground, so that the figures of an annual ring remain, a trough(1) is generated in a weak portion of the wood and a hill(2) is in a strong portion thereof. After that, a natural uneven pattern, like annual ring, is created on the surface of the wood plate.
