종래에도 많은 찻상이 사용하고 있으나 대부분 엠디에프(MDF) 소재를 찻상의 바닥판으로 사용하고 그 위에 무늬목을 입혀 우레탄이나 카슈 칠을 하여 나무판과 같은 분위기로 사용하고 있으며, 좀더 고급스럽게는 찻상 바닥판을 나무를 여러 겹 붙여서 된 합판을 이용하고 있으나 여기에 다시 무늬 목을 붙여서 마감처리 하여 제작하여 사용하고 있다.Many tea shops have been used in the past, but most of them use MDF material as the bottom plate of the tea table, and they are coated with a wood veneer and urethane or cashew to make it look like a wooden board.
