Claims (10)
- 초기 배향 상태가 수직 배향을 나타내는 유전 이방성이 부(負)인 액정으로 이루어지는 액정층이 한 쌍의 기판 사이에 유지되어 이루어지고, 화상 표시 영역 내에 복수 배열 형성된 하나의 도트 영역 내에, 투과 표시를 행하는 투과 표시 영역과 반사 표시를 행하는 반사 표시 영역이 마련된 액정 표시 장치로서,인접하는 2개의 도트 영역의 투과 표시 영역끼리 또는 반사 표시 영역끼리가 각각 그 도트 영역의 단변(edges)에 면하는 위치에 마련되어, 전압 인가 시에 각 단변에 생성되는 경사 전계에 의해서 액정이 서로 반대 방향으로 경사 배향 되는 것을 특징으로 하는 액정 표시 장치.
- 초기 배향 상태가 수직 배향을 나타내는 유전 이방성이 부인 액정으로 이루어지는 액정층이 한 쌍의 기판 사이에 유지되어 이루어지고, 화상 표시 영역 내에 복수 배열 형성된 하나의 도트 영역 내에, 투과 표시를 행하는 투과 표시 영역과 반사 표시를 행하는 반사 표시 영역이 마련된 액정 표시 장치로서,인접하는 2개의 도트 영역의 투과 표시 영역끼리 또는 반사 표시 영역끼리가 이들 도트 영역 사이의 영역을 사이에 두고 대치된 것을 특징으로 하는 액정 표시 장치.
- 초기 배향 상태가 수직 배향을 나타내는 유전 이방성이 부인 액정으로 이루어지는 액정층이 한 쌍의 기판 사이에 유지되어 이루어지고, 화상 표시 영역 내에 복수 배열 형성된 하나의 도트 영역 내에, 투과 표시를 행하는 투과 표시 영역과 반사 표시를 행하는 반사 표시 영역이 마련된 액정 표시 장치로서,인접하는 2개의 도트 영역의 투과 표시 영역끼리 또는 반사 표시 영역끼리가, 이들 도트 영역의 인접하는 방향에 대하여 좌측 및 우측으로 되는 위치에 대향하여 마련된 것을 특징으로 하는 액정 표시 장치.
- 제 1 항 내지 제 3 항 중 어느 한 항에 있어서,상기 한 쌍의 기판중 적어도 한쪽 기판과 상기 액정층 사이에는, 상기 반사 표시 영역과 상기 투과 표시 영역에서 상기 액정층의 층 두께를 다르게 한 액정층 두께 조정층이 적어도 상기 반사 표시 영역에 마련된 것을 특징으로 하는 액정 표시 장치.
- 제 1 항 내지 제 4 항 중 어느 한 항에 있어서,상기 도트 영역이 거의 구형(矩形)으로 구성되고,상기 투과 표시 영역이 상기 도트 영역의 장변을 따라 배치된 것을 특징으로하는 액정 표시 장치.
- 제 5 항에 있어서,상기 액정층 두께 조정층이 거의 구형인 도트 영역의 세 단변을 따라 평면에서 보아 "ㄷ"자 형상으로 마련되고, 상기 투과 표시 영역이 나머지 하나의 단변을 따라 배치된 것을 특징으로 하는 액정 표시 장치.
- 제 5 항에 있어서,상기 투과 영역이 구형 형상인 도트 영역의 세 단변을 따라 평면에서 보아 "ㄷ"자 형상으로 마련되고, 상기 액정층 두께 조정층이 나머지 하나의 단변을 따라 배치된 것을 특징으로 하는 액정 표시 장치.
- 제 5 항에 있어서,상기 투과 표시 영역이 거의 구형인 도트 영역의 4개의 단변을 따라 4군데 마련된 것을 특징으로 하는 액정 표시 장치.
- 제 5 항에 있어서,상기 액정층 두께 조정층이 구형 형상인 도트 영역의 4개의 단변을 따라 4군데 마련된 것을 특징으로 하는 액정 표시 장치.
- 청구항 1∼9 중 어느 한 항에 기재된 액정 표시 장치를 구비한 것을 특징으로 하는 전자 기기.
