Abstract

PURPOSE: A method for preparing an RDF by using waste paper is provided to recycle waste paper and thereby prevent environmental pollution. CONSTITUTION: The method comprises steps of: (a) sorting out foreign materials such as metals, stones, wood from waste paper, (b) crushing the waste paper into paper chip having size of not more than 5 mm with a crusher, (c) preparing certain amounts of powdered coal, saw dust and loess, (d) mixing a mixture of 60-70 wt.% of paper chip, 10-30 wt.% of saw dust and 10-20 wt.% of powdered coal with water in a mixing ratio of 6 : 4, (e) putting the mixed composition obtained in the fourth step in a molding frame having a regular shape and pressurizing it with a pressure of 1-2 ton/cm¬2 to mold RDF, and (f) drying the molded RDF into an RDF having a water content of not more than 10%.
