Claims (5)
- 패킷 데이터 채널을 관련 제어 채널 및 관련 피드백 채널과 함께 이용하는 통신 시스템 내에서 동작하는 원격국 내에 개선된 제어-홀드 모드를 구현하기 위한 장치로서,메모리 엘리먼트; 및상기 메모리 엘리먼트에 저장된 명령 세트를 실행하도록 구성되는 프로세싱 엘리먼트를 구비하되,상기 명령 세트는, 기지국으로부터의 패킷 데이터 채널의 모니터링을 중지시키고, 상기 기지국으로부터의 패킷 데이터 채널과 관련된 제어 채널의 모니터링을 중지시키고, 역방향 링크 긍정응답 (ACK) 채널을 턴-오프시키고, 상기 원격국으로부터 상기 기지국으로의 송신을 게이트-오프시키고, 그리고, 데이터 제어 채널을 통하여 간헐적으로 송신시키는, 개선된 제어-홀드 모드의 구현 장치.
